Digital Encoder A digital encoder is a digital device that uses bits to represent information as binary numbers. Examples Example 1 Using a two bit binary number we have four 2 bits binary numbers 00 01 10 11 Let 00 --- 0 01 --- 1 10 --- 2 11 --- 3 The decimal numbers from 0 to 3 are encoded as 2 bit binary numbers.
