Salvio Gambit, Silberschmidt Defense
Black chooses to defend f7 using their knight. This opening is called the Silberschmidt Defense. Despite the logicality and popularity of the move, this is not as accurate as the other main replies to 6. Kf1.
7. d4 is what most people play, taking the center and reinforcing the e5 knight. This is usually followed from the Black side by 7...d6 or 7...f3.
7. d3?? simply loses the knight to 7...d6!, trapping it as the d3 square is occupied by the pawn.
7. Nc3 is a minor try where after 7...d6 8. Nd3, Black has a slightly better position but White has more development.
