Garland is a former knight of Coneria. After being dismissed from his post as a knight, Garland decided to take his revenge by kidnapping Princess Sara. Relying on the prophecy of Lukahn, the King of Coneria commissioned the Light Warriors to hunt Garland and retrieve the Princess.
Garland was holding the Princess in the Temple of Fiends to the northwest of Coneria. The Light Warriors stormed the Temple, slew Garland, and rescued Sara.
