The Lute is a 2,000 year old heirloom of the royal family of Coneria. It has been passed down to the eldest child in each generation since the Time of Chaos, and is currently in the possession of Princess Sara. It makes a beautiful sound when played.
Princess Sara gave the Lute to the Light Warriors after they rescued her from Garland.
The music of the Lute is rumored to be the key to a magical lock within the Temple of Fiends.
