Verb Definition A verb is a word that denotes action or a state of being. Action: Anyet madidit ya chyi agavang. Matina nung-wu lak nyung kusat. Samson nok ali. Other ways include the addition of verb antecedents to adjectives, adverbs or nouns to form verb phrases. Verbs are formed from nouns by the removal of the first letter "a̱-" of the noun word.
