Ke3?? — Mana Attack
4. Ke3?? moves the king even farther into the center, creating the Mana Attack. The move is considered a serious blunder because White abandons king safety and walks into potential checks and tactical attacks.
4...e5 can immediately challenge White's central position and open lines toward the exposed king.
Downsides: The biggest problem with 4.Ke3?? is king safety. White has lost the ability to castle and places the king on a vulnerable central square before developing the pieces.
An independent line is 1. d4 d5 2. Kd2 Nc6 3. Ke3?? e5, when Black opens the center while White's king remains dangerously exposed.
It Might Also Resemble The Bongcloud.
The Mana Attack is characterized by the extremely unusual 1. d4 d5 2. Kd2 Nc6 3. Ke3??.
