America's Army: Special Forces/SVD Sniper Rifle
Reference material by Wikibooks contributors. This retains its source identity and is not 411 news reporting.
The SVD is the opfor equivalent of the American M82. This gun is a little less accurate due to no cross hairs and no bipod.
But it does have less recoil than the M-82
Because it has no bipod and high sensitivity to breathing, it is extremely hard to aim.
