There are two main moves for White in this position.
The first is 8. exd5, gaining a pawn but allowing Black to create an attack on the kingside.
The second is 8. Kxf2, trading the bishops in hopes of moving the king to relative safety on g1.
It should be noted that 8. Bxd5 is a mistake because Bg4 traps White's queen!
