A Traveler's Guide to the World of Pokémon/Johto/Dark Cave

Dark Cave is an area that spans the eastern part of Johto linking Violet City, Blackthorn City and Route 45. It is quite hard to navigate and impossible without a Pokémon that knows the move Flash. Even then you will still require a Pokémon that knows Surf and Rock Smash to get far. Dark Cave is unique in that it is the only place in Pokémon Gold, Silver & Crystal Versions where you can catch Wobbuffet. Upon entering there is a man who will give you Blackglasses to boost the power of Dark Type moves. You can also obtain TM13-Snore and other items such as Revive.
