International Postage Meter Stamp Catalog/Turkmenistan

Turkmenistan Turkmenistan was a region of the former Soviet Union and became an independent country in 1991. Post independence meter stamps with old Soviet Union markings (“CCCP”, hammer and sickle logo) are known used, but franks with Soviet inscriptions removed or inscribed with the new country name have not yet been reported. It is probable that such stamps do exist.
