The Republic of Molossia is a micronation in Dayton, Nevada, founded by Kevin Baugh in 1977 as a childhood project. Molossia functions as a satirical political parody and a personal passion project for its president and citizens.

Has its own flag, currency (the Valora, backed by cookie dough), laws, national anthem, and even a railroad.
Diplomacy
While technically part of the United States and still paying taxes to the local government, which Baugh refers to as "foreign aid,".
