Stenanthium
The endangered pine barrens death camas (Stenanthium leimanthoides) is closely related to Stenanthium densum (Osceola’s plume, black snakeroot, crow poison). If lumped as conspecific, Stenanthium densum would probably have priority, since its basionym is Melanthium densum Desr. (1797).

However, most of New York State is outside the range of Uvularia puberula, pine-barren bellwort, which may occur in only a few locations on Long Island, and is considered endangered in the state.
