The Systems Life Cycle topic looks at the stages and processes involved in designing and developing a new computer system. The system could be a stand alone programmme or it could be a complete computerised system. No matter the scope of the project the stages involved in the project are the same. Note: in other IT or technology syllabi the stages might not necessarily be the same as the ones shown here. These are the stages designated by CIE.
