Super Mario World is a game that was originally designed for the Super Famicom and the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). This game was released in 1990 in Japan, in North America in 1991, and PAL regions in 1992. This game is considered by many players to be the best of the Super Mario series, if not among the best games of all time.
Versions
Aside from the original Super Famicom/SNES edition, there are many other editions of the game. This includes Super Mario All Stars + Super Mario World, which includes remakes of Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros 2., and Super Mario Bros 3., as well as Super Mario World. A version of the game also exists on the Game Boy Advance, known as Super Mario Advance 2, also including a remake of the Mario Bros. game. This version is essentially the same as Super Mario World, aside from a few minor differences.
