Write names of ten animals in Punjabi. 2. Masculine gender in Punjabi is called ਪੁਲਿੰਗ and feminine gender is called ਇਸਤਰੀ ਲਿੰਗ. All the above animal names, nouns as they are, bear gender. Regular masculine nouns, as in the case of first five animal names above, end with kanna(ਾ). Gender of regular masculine nouns is changed by replacing kanna(ਾ) with bihari(ੀ).
