ਫੁਲ - Flowers

Flower is called ਫੁਲ in Punjabi. ਕਮਲ i.e. lotus, a symbol of spirituality, fruitfulness, wealth, knowledge and illumination, is the National flower of India. Some other flowers are called:
ਗੁਲਾਬ = rose
ਚਮੇਲੀ = jasmine
ਗੇਂਦਾ = marigold
ਨਰਗਸ = narcissus
ਗੁਲ ਬਹਾਰ = daisy
ਗੁਲਦਾਉਦੀ = chrysanthemum
ਚਾਂਦਨੀ = plumeria
ਗੁਲਨਾਰ = carnation
ਡੇਹਲੀਆ = dahlia
ਮਹਿੰਦੀ = mignonette, henna
ਸੂਰਜਮੁਖੀ = sunflower
ਸਰ੍ਹੋਂ = mustard
ਰਾਤ ਦੀ ਰਾਣੀ = night blooming jasmine
ਚੰਬੇ ਦੀ ਕਲੀ = Cabe of clove
