Englund Gambit: Soller Gambit Accepted
Soller Gambit Accepted
Taking the pawn is a slight inaccuracy and not recommended, as it plays into Black's gameplan and allows them to easily develop their knight. White still has the advantage, though they must be careful not to fall for any of Black's traps. Black could continue by developing their bishop to c5, threatening the f7 pawn and laying down a nasty trap. After 4. Bg5 Bc5 5. Nf3 Ne4!!, it looks like Black blundered their queen, but 6. Bxd8?? results in White getting checkmated by Bxf2#
