Note: Date 1 of Sajibu month is the Meitei New Year (Manipuri New Year). Meitei New Year Festival is called Cheiraoba. So, there's no exact Manipuri translations of the twelve months of the Gregorian calendar. People use the same English names of the months to refer to the English months.
