Grammar
To be properly formatted?
To give a command or instructions, you need to find the stem of the verb, as you do with short form verbs.
On the whole, if the verb finishes with a consonant, add the ending -wch (chi) or -a (ti) to the whole word:
Edrychwch, Darllenwch, Eisteddwch
Edrycha, Darllena, Eistedda
Or, if it finishes with a vowel, drop the last vowel before adding the suffix:
Codi > Codwch/Coda
Ffonio > Ffoniwch/Ffonia
However, there are some irregular stems. If the word ends with -ed or -eg, thi ending will be dropped:
Cerdded > Cerddwch/Cerdda
Rhedeg > Rhedewch/Rheda
Some verbs are slightly different
Troi > Trowch/Tro
Rhoi > Rhowch/Rho
As usual, the verbs mynd, dod, and gwneud are irregular:
Mynd > Ewch/Cer
Dod > Dewch/Dere
Gwneud > Gwnewch/Gwna
Peidio â - (Not to) has an aspirate mutation following the letters T, C, and P.
Peidiwch â mynd.
Peidiwch â thalu. (from talu - to pay)
Paid â chodi. (from codi - to get up/raise)
Paid â phoeni. (from poeni - to worry)
 becomes ag before a vowel:
Paid ag agor y drws.
Review
Remove the stem, and add -wch for a formal command; add -a for an informal command.
Some stems and commands are irregular. Learn them as you go along.
