Πώς σε λένε; Hi. What's your name? (literally: "How [do they] call you")
Εσύ; Hi. My name is Michael, and you?
Πόσων ετών είσαι; My name is John. How old are you?
Ι'm 15. Nice to meet you!
Από πού είσαι; Where are you from?
I'm from Germany.
Μένεις εδώ; Γιατί ήρθες εδώ; Do you live here? Why did you come here?
Εσύ, τι κάνεις; No, I just came here to visit Mount Athos. What are you doing?
Πότε θα επιστρέψεις; I'm just getting a coffee. I couldn't help but notice that you have a prayer rope. When are you going back?
I'm leaving to Munich in a day. Can I have your phone number? I've never met an Orthodox German.
