What It Is Tuff is a soft rock that can be found in the deepslate layers in Minecraft. Use Finding Tuff You can find Tuff deep underground within the deepslate layers of the world, which starts to form at Y=4 in-between regular stone, and fully replacing it at Y=0. Tuff is usually found in ovoid shapes within the terrain and caverns of the deepslate layers, and can be mined faster than regular stone. Occasionally, tuff can also be found as a part of a massive iron vein within your world, being interspersed with deepslate iron ore and raw iron blocks within the ore vein structure. It can encompass hundreds of blocks, and be made of thousands of tuff blocks in a singular vein.
