Movie Making Manual/Hosting
Reference material by Wikibooks contributors. This retains its source identity and is not 411 news reporting.
Where should we host our Movie Making Manual?
Reasons for keeping it on WikiBooks
It's free
It's neutral teritory
It helps keep knowledge in one place
We're likely to get more hits
It'll be a real pain to move the book elsewhere
People are already starting to learn about the book and might be put off if we move it now
Reasons for taking it elsewhere
WikiBooks is SLOW (although they have ordered 5 new servers which may speed things up)
We can't get access to the MySQL database (not a major problem)
There's no easy way to backup all our work (although I imagine that wikibooks do run regular backups)
