Notes
The ending of a noun often indicates its gender, but there are exceptions.
Gender must be learned together with the noun.
Gender affects many parts of Polish grammar, including adjectives, pronouns, verbs, and numerals.
Demonstrative pronouns (ten, ta, to) are useful for checking a noun's gender.
