Syntax:
public class MyClass extends SuperClass

}
public interface MyInterface extends SuperInterface
{
//...
}
In Java 1.5 and later, the "extends" keyword is also used to specify an upper bound on a type parameter in Generics.
class Foo<T extends Number> { /*...*/ }
