General Literary Chinese from Scratch/A Bilingual Stele of the Khitans

Background The Record of the Younger Brother of the Emperor of the Great Jin Dynasty (1134), recorded by Huang Yingqi, is a rare example of a Literary Chinese bilingual text, in this case being written in Khitan and then translated into Literary Chinese.
