The Rob Roy is a cocktail similar to a Manhattan but made with Scotch whiskey and sweet vermouth instead of rye whiskey.
Ingredients
1½ ozs. (45 ml) Scotch Whisky
1 oz. (25 ml) sweet vermouth
dash Angostura bitters
Garnish
Maraschino cherry
Glass

Cocktail glass
Procedure
Fill a mixing glass with ice.
Add bitters, scotch and vermouth and stir.
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass, garnished with a Maraschino cherry.
Serve.
