A vector has both a magnitude and a direction.
It is represented in terms of 2d or 3d entity.
In 2D representation:
r = 7i+8j
In 3D representation:
r = 9i+5j+6k
i, j, k denotes magnitude in the direction of x,y and z axis respectively.
