Embedding Parrot Because the Parrot Virtual Machine is modular, we can link the libparrot library into other executables, creating programs which contain a Parrot interpreter object. One simple use for such a technology would be to create an executable file which contains data in the form of precompiled bytecode and a simple instantiation of the Parrot interpreter to create a standalone executable for a particular programming language.
