MapleStory/Monsters
Reference material by Wikibooks contributors. This retains its source identity and is not 411 news reporting.
There are many monsters in the world of MapleStory. The most dangerous monsters live deep in dungeons.
Harmless monsters tend to stay by towns. Maple Island is one of the places that has very few monsters and are mostly very weak. Higher level monsters live in Victoria Island, but more dangerous monsters live closer to the center (Dungeon) of the island. Ossyria mainly has high level monsters as well as three major bosses.
Items, leftovers, and Mesos
After killing a monster, Mesos or monster leftovers (ETC. items) may be dropped sometimes. However, the monster may also drop something rare (infrequently of course), such as an equipment, which can be worth a lot. The mesos dropped by a monster is varied, and the range varies with the monster (and is usually, but not always, somewhat porpotional to the level of the monster, so you will find that in SOME circumstances monsters of same level drops the same range of mesos), the maximum value usually being 1.5x the minimum value.

Ratz 3110102.png 32 1,000 0 65 A fast white rat. It is adorable but deals decent damage when you are hit by it. It does have very good HP/exp ratio, so it's decent training material for warriors and bandits level 42-44. Found in Eos Tower : Ludibruim.
Pink Teddy 3110101.png 32 1,050 0 65 This is a easy monster with high meso drop just like other Ludibrium monsters. Faster than the brown teddy. It jumps and can fall too. This is basically a Jr Kitty with slower speed, bigger size, and worse drops. Found in Ludibrium.
Fire Boar 3210100.png 32 1,000 60 60 A flaming boar. No one knows how much that hurts but the Fire Boar. As a result it has a flaming temper. Attacks with great speed and strength. Drops a lot of mesos for its level. Found in remote areas of Perion. They used to be the monster of choice back in BETA, but now with the new monsters not a lot of people hunt them any more. These boars are the second strongest boars in the game.

Mask Fish 3230104.png 32 1,000 0 65 A masked fish that lives in Aquaroad. There's a lot of them in the east sea beside Aquarium.
Dark Leatty 5300001.png 33 1,100 45 65 An evil version of the Leatty. As a result it is weak against holy. However, it loses its weakness to fire and strength against ice. Found in the lower floors of Orbis Tower : Ossyria and El Nath.
Jr. Cellion 3210200.png 33 1,100 70 65 A fiery creature. Ice defeats it rather smoothly. This is a major source of good loot in Ossyria so seize the opportunity. Fast and annoying, but it does drop 60% Claw Scrolls.
Jr. Lioner 3210201.png 33 1,100 70 65 A Jr. Lioner, just like a Jr. Cellion only it has different strengths. Ice is still good on it, but it resists lightning. Fast and pesky. Found in Ossyria.
Jr. Grupin 3210202.png 33 1,100 70 65 The third species, similar to a Jr. Cellion, but resists ice instead. However, this makes it weak to fire. Fast and annoying, like the other two species.
Goat* Goat.png 34 1,100 ? 66 - A slow dazed monster. but if you hit it once and run, jump. ChinaMS Exclusive Monster
Dirty Ratz 3210205.png 34 1,050 0 70 A darkened rat, but not undead. Proceed with caution; this is a faster and stronger Ratz. Still easy to kill at about lvl 35+ though Found in Eos Tower : Ludibruim.

Tick 3210207.png 34 1,100 0 70 A small clock monster that neither moves very fast nor jumps, making it an easy target. However, the spawn isn't very good. Mainly seen in Ludibrium's Crossroad of Time.
Jr. Boogie 3230300.png 35 1,700 300 150 A monster like Fierry that appears in various locations around Victoria Island and which can cause various status effects(like stopping you from jumping which is a real pain with wild boars around) to its foes. The most vicious boogies are the ones spawning in Land of Wild Boar I, creating major problems for warriors and low-level players who train there. If you happen to accidentally hit a boogie amongst the boars, your only chance is to either run away, use disorder to calm it down (thieves), or kill it. (It is an experience bonus for those training in Deep Ant tunnel II, though!)
Bloctopus 3230302.png 35 1,300 0 72 A monster found around the middle levels of Ludibrium's Eos Tower. Fairly fast and can jump, but otherwise not much of a threat.
Star Pixie 3230200.png 35 1,300 100 72 One of the few lower-level monsters with a magic attack, Star Pixies will often use it in self-defense. However, their magic is fairly easy to dodge at a distance. Found in Orbis : Cloud Parks I-IV.
Jr. Pepe 5400000.png 35 1,400 70 75 Small penguins that slide around in the lower levels of Orbis Tower, and just between the Orbis Tower and El Nath. Very fast, hard to flinch, and has high avoidability, but weak to fire and cannot jump. However, this can easily deal over 100 damage to you if your armor isn't strong, so this is the main reason level 1-30's don't venture to El Nath.
Curse Eye 9300002.png 35 1,250 65 70 Surprisingly fast monsters that are descendants of Evil Eyes. Found in the trees north of Ellinia and in the Sleepywood Dungeon maps. They resist poison-based attacks, so do not attack with it. Drops Blackbull's deed to the land, a Quest item.

Helly 3210206.png 36 1,350 0 77 A toy helicopter that flies around the outside of Ludibrium's Eos Tower. It is not as fast as a Chirppy and for some reason flies in straight lines instead of faster diagonals (only sometimes).

Chronos 3230306.png 37 1,750 30 82 The lowest of three ranks, the Chronos are vulnerable to a Cleric's healing powers, but unlike most other undead monsters, they have no weakness against other holy magic. Found in Ludibrium : Clock Tower area where most areas are named after time. Drops some good items, but has terrible spawn. Undead
Lupin 3210800.png 37 1,500 100 77 Monsters that inhabit Florina Beach, the Gollem Temple, and the trees near Ellinia. Oddly enough, they use their bananas to attack, resulting in an annoying spray of bananas that will kill you if you don't have a very strong multiple hit attack. These bananas can deal 100-200 damage. Despite the fact they must stop to throw bananas, though, they can also jump and move at a rather fast rate.
Lorang 3230102.png 37 1,950 100 80 Crabs that inhabit Florina Beach, sometimes with Lupins, other times by themselves. One of the few monsters weak to lightning, it has the ability to jump and moves at a rapid speed as well as dealing major damage. Barnard Gray 4230116.png 40 1,930 130 95 The weakest Gray. This one cannot fly, but can jump. Shoots a close ranged pulse that hits any players in its range. Found in Omega Sector.
Tick-Tock 4230113.png 40 1,900 50 95 A larger version of the Tick, this monster is much better suited to combat than its smaller lookalike. Strangly enough its size, despite its appearance, is programmed to be the same as a Tick so it is easy to snipe. Found in Ludibruim : Clock Tower area.
Cold Eye 4230100.png 40 2,000 50 85 The most powerful Evil Eye form that resides deep within the dungeon. Resistant to ice attacks but weak to fire, they still have all the capabilities of their relatives. Handle with caution. Found in Ant Tunnel : The Cursed Sancutuary area, including Ant Tunnel : The Tunnels That Lost Light, and in a single tree three maps north of Ellinia. It lives with Drakes, Tauromacis, Wild Cargo, and others of its kind. People who hunt for strong monsters in Dungeon will most likely have to kill a lot of these buggers and get a lot of pink cone hats as a result.
Zombie Lupin 4230101.png 40 1,800 100 90 The Zombie Lupins were created in an accident involving dark magic and the Cursed Dolls the Zombie Lupins contain within them. As zombies, they are again weak to a cleric's healing powers and holy magic. Like normal Lupins, they still use their bananas as weapons, throwing them when provoked. Found in certain areas of Ellinia's forest. Undead

Platoon Chronos 4230114.png 41 2,050 50 99 The middle rank of Chronos who gain a magic-based attack which is turned on intruders. Again, weak to healing powers but not to holy magic. Their hats make telling between them and Master Chronos difficult at times. Found in the vast Clock Tower of Ludibrium. Often hunted for their Esther Shields and 60% Glove ATT scrolls. Undead
Mateon 4230119.png 41 2,080 150 99 A small alien octopus. Shoots an energy bolt-like shot from its gun.
Zeta Gray 4230117.png 42 2,300 150 A flying gray, flies quite fast. When provoked, it stops in midair, charges energy, and releases a glowing orb attack. Can be dodged.
Nependeath 4230105.png 42 2,100 120 99 A pink/purple flower. It is immobile since it's a plant. There are two breeds of them: one breed makes no sound whatsoever and does not attack you unless you attack it first, and another breed which makes sounds, and attacks you whenever you get close. It is impossible to make out between the two "species" purely by appearance, only when attacked will a player know which it is. Hunted quite a bit for the Nependeath's Honey.
Iron Hog 4230103.png 42 2,200 60 99 A pig surrounded by armor. Highly resistant to attacks and is speedy, even though it does not deal much damage. Arguably the most annoying monster in Henesys.
Block Golem 4230109.png 42 2,400 0 102 A huge Golem made out of bricks. Has a powerful attack but is tremendously slow and shows a weakness to fire. Found in Eos Tower. Shadow Eye from Another Dimension 9300008.png 43 7,100 0 340 This monster only appears within the Ludibrium Party Quest. Highly resistant to weapon attacks, so have a Wizard or Cleric attack it.
NOTE!!!: Don't just hit it once, hold down the attack button and you can usually score multiple hits seeing as it's eyes arn't techinically closed
Dark Eye from Another Dimension 9300014.png 43 6,500 0 340 This monster only appears within the Ludibrium Party Quest. Highly resistant to magic and elemental attacks, so avoid sending in the Magicians against these!

Plateon 4230120.png 44 2,480 0 105 Does not have a magic/ranged attack, but has more weapon attack, preferring to ram players with its hovercraft like ship.
Master Robo 4230112.png 44 2,380 0 105 A red version of Robos. For some reasons it only makes computer sounds when it's hit. It is faster than Robos and deal more damage, but is otherwise still an easy monster to overcome.
Skeledog Skelton Dog.png 44 2,450 0 107 Undead
Ultra Gray 4230118.png 45 2,550 170 The second strongest gray. When provoked, it glows red and emits a red electric shock to any players in its range. Its range is a bit small however, making it need to come close to attack, so assassins, magicians and bowmen can take it out from afar.
Lunar Pixie 4230106.png 45 2,500 115 105 ? An upgraded form of Star Pixie. Still uses a fairly easy to avoid magic attack but attacks with its body also. Found in Orbis : Cloud Park.
Copper Drake 4130100.png 45 2,700 150 105 ? A weak Drake banned from the Dungeon. The second strongest monster in Perion. It is a good training for Fighters and Spearmen level 46-50.

Igloo Turtle 9500148.png 45 2,200 280 180 - Although it is similar to a Tortie it should be pointed out that it is not a Tortie. Perfect for beginner Fire/Poison Magicians, as it takes only a couple hits to kill, though avoid it's ice attack as it can freeze you for several seconds. KoreaMS Event Monster
Tortie 4130101.png 46 2,550 100 110 A turtle-like monster which resides in the deepest parts of Florina Beach. Has tremendous defence and magic defence, and uses a powerful, unavoidable magic attack which is annoying. It gives good money for its level however. Best hunted as a high-level Bandit who can kill them in one blow.
Mecateon 4230121.png 46 2,600 270 Medium speed, walking around in its mech walker. Shoots a red pulse similar to Ultra Gray's, but much stronger.
Master Chronos 4230115.png 46 2,600 70 115 The highest rank of Chronos. Like its counterparts, it's vulnerable to healing but not as much against holy magic. Despite being the most powerful monster in the Eos Tower, it neither moves fast nor has the ability to jump, but it is usually surrounded by its allied (King) Block Golems. Croco 5130103.png 52 3,800 75 170 An evil crocodile, it is very strong but slow. Found in Kerning Swamp.
Luster Pixie 5120000.png 52 4,000 200 155 Popular lvl 50-60 training spot. Good drops, good money, but not as good exp as Ossy areas. Their high magical defense and low weapon defense make these monsters better for warriors/thieves/archers. Mages generally have better places to train. Their leftovers are the only ones that can be traded in for a 60% scroll for Cape INT.
Cellion 5120001.png 53 4,200 160 160 Adult versions of the Jr. Cellions, generally more powerful, but with the same elemental strengths and weaknesses. Now, though, they have a (fire-based?) magic attack that they can use when provoked. Found in Orbis: Garden of Red II (spawn with Jr. Cellion) and Stairway to the Sky I (spawn with Lioner and Grupin).
Lioner 5120002.png 53 4,200 160 160 Adult versions of the Jr. Lioners, generally more powerful, but with the same elemental strengths and weaknesses. Grupin 5120003.png 53 4,200 160 160 Adult versions of the Jr. Grupins, generally more powerful, but with the same elemental strengths and weaknesses. Now, though, they have a (ice-based?) magic attack that they can use when provoked. Found in Orbis: Garden of Green II and Stairway to the Sky I (spawn with Lioner and Cellion). They're the kitty of choice for non-elemental classes, since they drop Tobi, Icicle and Crystal Flower Earrings.
Hogul Monster04.png 53 4500 160 206 A Tiger that stands on two feet, it can slow and disable(unable to move) you. Has ranged magic attack.
Mimic 9300004.png 54 4,100 50 165 Really annoying, and seen only in the first quest to get the Eye/Seed of Fire. Can do 400 with its thrown sword, and spawns in 3s. Zakum Party Quest
MT-09 5120100.png 54 13,500 170 980 The hardest monster in Omega Sector. Spawns about every 40 minutes, and has a missile attack that can be avoided. Boss
Hector 5130104.png 55 4,600 50 170 A grey wolf. It has decent mobility and can jump, but deals less damage compared to Golems. It does, however, possess a magic attack which is annoying. You can jump when it attacks to avoid the spell.
Stone Golem 5130101.png 55 4,000 120 170 Popular lvl 40 to 50 leveling spot for ranged players. Slow but rather durable, and can boost its own weapon attack/defense. Located mainly in a hidden street between Henesys and Sleepywood. Lower leveled players must take caution when passing over the "golem pit" between Henesys and Sleepywood. Most players who do fall in are in trouble.
Malady 5300100.png 55 4,200 90 170 A flying monster that appears near Ellinia. Very annoying monster. Not recommended for training. If you are item-hunting, check out the drops from the Pixies before you come here.

Dark Jr. Yeti 5130105.png 56 4,400 40 180 A Jr. Yeti that has absorbed the power of darkness. No longer weak to fire or resistant to ice, this Dark Jr. Yeti is instead weak to holy attacks. However, it tends to transform regardless of map. Found in El Nath's Sharp Cliff I/II and the Dangerous Cliff.
Alishar 9300012.png 56 125,000 2,500 4,800 The final foe of the Ludibrium Party Quest. Compared to the Slime King, this beast is much tougher, packing a hard to avoid magic attack, as well as the ability to summon all three Chronos ranks. However, It can only summon Master Chronos when it is close to death. Those planning to fight it, take caution; Alishar is also able to lock a player's skills and blind them, reducing their accuracy (except for magicians). Its large bulk also gives it a high stamina, so prepare for a long fight. Ludibrium Party Quest BossSummons Chronos,Platoon Chronos, and Master Chronos
Samiho Monster05.png 56 4,500 120 231 It is a fox... with three tails. It can do a magic attack that looks similar to Magic Claw except that it looks purple. It can inflict Curse on you as well, but is weak to fire.
Coolie Zombie 5130107.png 57 4,500 110 190 Considered one of the best leveling spots for all classes lvl 60 to 80. Even though 80 maps are available (4 maps on 20 channels), the zones are almost always full on the popular servers. It is a long and dangerous walk to The Forest of Dead Trees (without Dead Mine scrolls), so those looking for a faster/cheaper alternative, take a look at Hectors. Zombies rarely drop anything of worth (which is more oweing to the fact that so many people hunt them, actually), but the exp rate more than makes up for it. Tackle them as low as lvl 55 if you've got good equips, or even as low as 50 if you've got godly equips. To get there, go to the lvl 50+ zone, and keep walking. You'll get there eventually. Undead
Minor Zombie 5130108.png 57 4,500 110 190 Slightly faster in movement than Coolie Zombies. They appear in the mines and are much less popular because their spawn is much slower, and their map is not as good. They drop gold teeth now and then for one of the Zakum quests. Undead

Dark Stone Golem 5130102.png 58 4,800 150 200 Old Favorite monster back in Beta. For the most part, Zombies are better for exp. Does have better drops compared to Zombies though. Faster than normal golems, but possessing the same skills. Found in the Sleepy Dungeon maps (Not the Ant Tunnel path!) with a variety of other monsters.
White Pang 5140000.png 58 5,800 100 220 A white, upgraded version of Hectors. Has higher HP, defence, and a more powerful spell. Weak to Fire now, and strong against ice. It does possess some good drops, so some people like to go Pang Hunting on Wolf Territory V.
Mix Golem 781471.png 59 6,000 150 210 This monster is found in the Stone Golem Temple near Henesys. Do not jump in where they are because there are a lot of them.
Pepe 6130102.png 60 7,200 100 220 A blue penguin. While it doesn't deal a lot of damage, it is extremely fast and generally very annoying. These monsters are found near el nath.
Red Drake 6130100.png 60 6,000 120 220 This is the easiest monster that drops Steely throwing knives. Most of the 50+ Ice/Lit Wizards and 60+ Assassins are to be found there hunting steelies, despite that they will only spawn in one map. It has a powerful ranged magical attack, so watch out. (Fire)

Master Soul Teddy 6230500.png 67 11,000 100 265 Appears with regular Soul Teddies. Basically, it's a soul teddy with a much larger soul than regular ones, and is also more powerful. Puppet Golem Possess Golem.png 67 35,000 127 1,100 A rock monster that has been attached to a bat of some sort. High Darkstar 8500004.png 71 10,000 200 0 Generally, this along with its counterpart is something you want to get rid of quickly. If you provoke them without actually killing them before you do over 5k but less than 10k, they will self-explode on you, often doing higher damage than Papulatus itself and killing the player in 1 hit. Appear w/ Papulatus
Cerebes 7130001.png 72 15,000 120 295 A brown dog-like creature that appears in the Cave of Trial. Has a mysterious earthquake like attack that can be avoided by jumping but hurts a bit nevertheless.
Subordinate D* 9400103.png 72 15,100 200 - 581 A Human enemy that only appears in the first three parts of the Sho-wa mansion. Armed with a 1k and 1.4k damage knife attack, they are deadly to Melee type players, but ranged type people can take them out easy. Very good exp from lv 79-90. Japan Exclusive Monster

Lucida 7130000.png 73 15,500 240 320 This monster is found in the deepest part of Orbis' Color Gardens. Like the bigger coloured kitties, Lucida can attack you from a range. Weak to holy and spawns in large quantities, so they're a favourite target for Priests with max Shining Ray.
Commander Skeleton Skelton Horse and General.png 73 15,000 280 315 Undead
Buffoon 6300100.png 74 16,000 120 340 A red, very very fat monster that holds a clock on one of his hands. When you provoke him, he will slash his clock at the ground creating an earthquake which can be avoided by jumping. However, his speed of attack is so quick it's generally impossible to jump in time. Weak to Ice.
Dark Leyswi* NEW74.png 74 ? ? 340
Taurospear 7130101.png 75 16,000 120 350 The second most powerful monster in the dungeon, beaten only by the Jr. Balrog itself. They are poison-immune and fire resistant, and they can use their spears for incredibly long-range attacks which does 1100+ damage, surpassing the power of many monsters with a higher level than it. Despite appearing only in Sanctuary Entrance III/IV, they are one of the toughest obstacles to reaching Jr. Balrog.
Werewolf 7130200.png 75 16,000 150 350 Famed for dropping the Magician staff "Evil Wings", these beasts have incredibly high weapon defense, and a skill to boost it further. As such, most non-magicians have trouble dealing damage until higher levels. They freeze, luckily, but the experience isn't worth the trouble. They possess a clawing attack, so be careful.
Blood Boom 0023423.png 75 10,000 200 Has the same functions as Papulatus's Dark Star. KILL THESE QUICKLY! Appear w/ PianusBoss
Dark Klock 8140300.png 76 18,000 200 370 A darker counterpart of Klock. Has a much more potent magic attack and actually drops a few items of value (Steely, 60% Overall INT), but is otherwise generally unworthy of hunting. Undead

Deep Buffoon 6400100.png 77 19,000 140 385 A redder and more powerful counterpart of Buffoon. Basically, it has the same attacks as Buffoons, thought they are much more potent. Still weak to Ice.
Yeti and Pepe 7130102.png 78 20,000 100 (Yeti - 525), (Pepe - 437) A Yeti carrying a Pepe around in a cart. Once their combined HP run out, they separate and become killable. They drop some pretty rare items, and have the normal El Nath fire weakness/ice resistance. Their main method of attack is the Yeti's ground pound though, and as usual, jumping invalidates it.
Hengki* NEW78.png 78 ? ? 400
Lycanthrope 8140000.png 80 27,000 300 850 A much more powerful Werewolf, able to summon its lower brethren, and sporting a resistance to ice-based attacks... at the expense of a fire-based weakness. However, much as a Werewolf has a high weapon defense, a Lycanthrope has a high magic defense. A powerful Fire Wizard/Mage, however, can handle one without much trouble. Make sure to be careful of its claw attack though; use the same methods to avoid it as you would on a Werewolf! Is one only of the only two non-boss monster known to drop Ilbi throwing stars. It is also the only known monster to drop the extremely rare Blue Screamer, a level 80 2-handed sword (which is actually worth more than Ilbis). Summons Werewolves
Dances with Balrog's Clone 9001000.png 80 150,000 345 2,400 The dark clone of Dances with Balrog. In order to advance as a Crusader, Knight (White Knight in MapleSEA and Global), or Dragon Knight, a warrior must challenge this monster when above level 70 and defeat it. Has a powerful attack that only works melee. While it's hard to avoid in battle since a Warrior needs to go close as well, if you need to heal or re-add enchantment, you can just run away from the clone and he won't be able to hurt you at any distance. He is also able to cast Blind, striking at a warrior's weakness of lower accuracy and hurting a warrior's chances to hit the boss 3rd Job BossSummons Tauromacis
Grendel The Really Old's Clone 9001001.png 80 90,000 820 2,400 The dark clone of Grendel the Really Old. In order to advance as a Mage or Priest, a magician must challenge this monster when level 70 or above and defeat it. Uses 3rd Job Mage skills, such as Explosion. Slowest attacking clone and an easy fight for mages, since it cannot teleport, while they can (teleporting at the right moment negates Grendel's attacks). It can also seal however, blocking all of a magician's ability to fight. 3rd Job BossSummons Tauromacis
Athena Pierce's Clone 9001002.png 80 120,000 510 2,400 The dark clone of Athena Pierce. In order to advance as a Ranger or Sniper, a bowman must challenge this monster when level 70 or above and defeat it. Seems to have a slower attack rate than evil dark lord, unless it decides to use strafe. Athena is also able to inflict weakness, which will interfere with jumpshots and evading Athena's attacks. 3rd Job BossSummons Tauromacis
Dark Lord's Clone 9001003.png 80 120,000 510 2,400 The dark clone of the Dark Lord. In order to advance as a Chief Bandit or Hermit, a thief must challenge this monster when level 70 or above and defeat it. Also uses 3rd Job skills, such as a Hermit's Avenger. It also uses weaken, which is a disadvantage to assassins, so stay out of it's infliction range. The Tauromacis it summons when near death prove to be more annoying than the boss itself, so try to finish it off before they can be summoned. 3rd Job BossSummons Tauromacis
Jr. Balrog 8130100.png 80 50,000 500 2,000 The highest-level monster in all of Victoria Island, found in the deepest part of Ant Tunnel (at the center of the Dungeon). Drops all level 70 weapons (65 for Magician), and has some powerful attacks that can deal well over 2000 damage. Stay away unless your HP is high enough. Usually a party is needed to kill it, preferably with different classes. Boss

Dark Yeti and Pepe 8140100.png 82 29,000 150 (Dark Yeti - 715), (Dark Pepe - 700) A Dark Yeti carrying a Dark Pepe around in a cart. Once their combined HP run out, they separate and become killable. They drop arguably rarer items than the Yeti & Pepe, but they lose their fire weakness. However, if anything, they are easier to kill because they can be affected by freezing. Hence, killing one of these is a lot easier with an Ice Mage/Sniper/White Knight around. Still though, they share the same attack pattern as their non-dark brethren.
Ghost Pirate 7140000.png 83 30,000 160 1,100 A blue pirate. Surprisingly not affected by heal at all even though it's a ghost. Weak to Fire and strong against Ice, so the very fact that they reside wth Buffons (weak to ice, strong against fire) make them not worthy of hunting. Attacks by shooting his cannon, which is unavoidable.

Death Teddy 7130010.png 85 32,000 180 1,300 As you further progress into the Forgotten Path of Time, the soul of the dead teddy bear gets fearce and uglier than the soul teddy. Shoots projectile magic. Undead
Goby 1140367799.gif 85 17,000 150 1,400 This fish is irritating to high level players and dangerous to low level players. It follows a player around immediately upon seeing it without being provoked. It can do around 1400+ damage. It's basically a seeker missile of a fish.
Meebee 004335.png 85 ? ? 1420
Dual Ghost Pirate 7160000.png 87 35,000 200 1,500 Green counterpart of Ghost Pirate, and appears at Unbalanced Time. While they still share the same attack pattern and weakness as Ghost Pirate, they're much more practical to hunt since lots of sniping spots are present.
Beemee* NEWa.png 88 ? ? 1620 Seems to possess a magic attack similar to the Ranger's Arrow Rain but rains spears instead. Just thank god they do the Spear Rain skill after being pissed off like a whole bunch. Its also confirmed they drop the lv 100 spear.
Red Centaur* NEW88B.png 88 37000 ? 1600 One of the three Centaurs you will find in Riprey. They all have the same skills such as throwing their spear at you for 1.1k-1.2k damage or stomping the ground dealing about 1.4k damage, plus, if you provoke them, their speed is increased a bit. However, they all have different weaknesses. This one is weak to Ice.
Blue Centaur* NEW88C.png 88 37000 ? 1600 Same as above, but weak to fire. not to mention it's a cheater as it uses the lvl 90 spear fairfrozen at lvl 88 (But at least its one of their drops :P)
Dark Centaur* NEW88A.png 88 37000 ? 1600 Same as the other two but is weak to Holy and is healable. Undead
Master Death Teddy 7130300.png 89 40,000 190 1,720 The yellow conuterpart of Death Teddy, and surprisingly sports a soul that is not uglier than that of Death Teddy. Attacks with an orb of light, and is generally more powerful than Death Teddy. Lack of sniping spots and weaknesses other than holy makes this a generally unnoteworthy monster to hunt unless you're a Priest. However, a lot of Dragon Knights likes to party with Priests for training here. Undead
Bain 8140500.png 90 45,000 190 1,800 A red version of Cerebus and is fire-based too. Its attacks are much more straight-forward than that of a Cerebus's: shoots a ball of lava at you, pixie style. Weak to ice, so it's one of the favourite monsters for ice/lightning mages to hunt.
Exploading Goby House 8140555.png 90 48,000 190 0/3500 MSea This House like monster has killed many players who thought it was part of the background. Has a Super Defence up ability (The Damage Reduce to 1 rumor is false for mages since it makes it's weapon Def 9999) and has a special attack that does 2000+ damage. when it dies and explodes it summon 6 Gobys. When attacked, it produces a cracking sound.
NOTE!!!: Attack it out of range with ranged fighters is a good idea since it won't be able to attack you with it's magic attack

Despite its power, it is not invincible, especially against holy magic. However, the number of people capable of defeating one of these is slim, much less in the pairs that Crimson Balrogs travel in. Pierces through Dark Sight. There is 50% chance that the coast is clear during the ship ride. A 35% chance that only the ship will appear, and a 15% chance of the Crimson Balrogs actually appearing. Beware, it can inflict almost any status ailment but poison, and its damage can top 3k. It does have one weakness; if you stand at its left it can only use its ice attack, and at its right it can only use curse and darkness, making it a choice target for priests that can bombard it with holy spells from its right. Hunted by higher-level Dragon Knights for the level 90 spear Fairfrozen (Not for global version). this monster is resistant to ice and therefore it does NOT freeze. Undeadattacks without warning

The sword is capable of stunning its victim. Its attacks have a range on the ground, but can be dodged by jumping(similar to the way you can avoid a Yeti's earthquake), provided that you are not underneath its arms when it swings. Whats annoying about this boss is that you cannot take a breather, and there is basically no safe platform there to recharge your stats before fighting it again. Papulatus Clock 234234324.png 125 23,000,000 2,000,000 596,000 A steady speed monster. Papalatus occasionally retreats inside its clock, which lets it regain HP. It is capable of stunning, doing a lightning attack, and using Fallen One to reduce your HP/MP to 1, though arguably the most annoying skill it possess is Dispel, which removes all your beneficial enchantments (M Guard, Rage, Haste, Bless, et cetera). For a magician this move is often fatal. BossSummons Low Darkstar and High Darkstar
