In Phabricator you can configure inbound e-mail in multiple ways.
Solutions
The official documentation cover how to configure an inbound e-mail using one of these services:
Mailgun (an external service, but easy)
Postmark (an external service, but easy)
SendGrid (an external service, but easy)
Local MTA (you use your own hardware, not easy)
Reading an existing mailbox (not difficult) - not covered by the official documentation
