Chaos is an evil demonic abomination created 2,000 years before Lukahn's prophecy by the four fiends using Garland's body, who in turn were sent to the present by him, thus creating a time loop paradox. The Light Warriors can break the paradox by traveling backwards in time to the Temple of Fiends and defeating Chaos.
