Combat As in many RPGs, combat is at the core of Final Fantasy XI. There are several different ways one can enjoy the battle. Fighting normal monsters for experience, items, or skill improvement. Burning Circle Notorious Monster fights, a battle within a controlled arena with special conditions such as level and party size limits. Ballista, combat against other players to further national conquest.
