Rule changes Unlike previous years, in 2012 participating clubs will be divided in two groups of 10, instead of the four groups of five clubs, the system adopted by 2011. Thus, all teams will be involved in the tournament until the end of the year. The amendment will allow all clubs in the competition to play at least 18 games in the tournament. The top of each group will advance to the knockout stage for the decisive stages of the quarterfinals, semifinals and final. The semifinalists will be promoted to the Series B 2013.CBF anuncia mudanças na fórmula de disputa da Série C http://www.jornalnh.com.br/novidade/372130/cbf-anuncia-mudancas-na-formula-de-disputa-da-serie-c.html CBF 4 March 2012 https://web.archive.org/web/20160307051426/http://www.jornalnh.com.br/novidade/372130/cbf-anuncia-mudancas-na-formula-de-disputa-da-serie-c.html 7 March 2016 dead dmy-all Teams TeamHome cityStadiumCapacityÁguiaMarabáZinho de Oliveira 5,500BrasilienseBrasíliaBoca do Jacaré 30,000CaxiasCaxias do SulCentenário 30,800ChapecoenseChapecóArena Condá 25,000CuiabáCuiabáVerdão 40,000Duque de CaxiasDuque de CaxiasMarrentão 7,000FortalezaFortalezaPresidente Vargas 20,600GuaranySobralJunco 10,000IcasaJuazeiro do NorteRomeirão 16,000LuverdenseLucas do Rio VerdePasso das Emas Stadium 15,000MacaéMacaéMoacyzão 15,000MadureiraRio de JaneiroConselheiro Galvão 10,000OesteItápolisAmaros 16,000PaysanduBelémCuruzú 20,000SalgueiroSalgueiroSalgueirão 10,000Santa CruzRecifeArruda 60,000Santo AndréSanto AndréBruno José Daniel 18,000TrezeCampina GrandePresidente Vargas 10,000TupiJuiz de ForaMário Helênio 40,000Vila NovaGoiâniaSerra Dourada 50,000 First stage Group A main WDL Group A QR FOR Fortaleza LUV Luverdense ICA Icasa PAY Paysandu TRE Treze STC Santa Cruz AGM Águia de Marabá CUI Cuiabá SAL Salgueiro GUA Guarany de Sobral 11 6 1 28 11 10 4 4 32 26 7 3 8 18 19 5 9 4 26 19 7 1 10 24 33 5 7 6 26 22 5 7 6 22 32 4 8 6 20 21 4 8 6 25 29 3 5 10 21 30 #D0F0C0 Advances to Final Stage A A A A #FFCCCC Relegation to Série D R R complete Matches main FBR grey AGM CUI FOR GUA ICA LUV PAY SAL STC TRE Águia de Marabá 2–1 0–0 2–1 1–0 2–2 1–1 2–2 1–0 5–1 Cuiabá 3–1 0–0 2–1 0–0 0–2 1–1 1–1 0–0 5–1 Fortaleza 0–0 3–0 4–1 1–0 3–3 3–1 2–1 2–0 2–1 Guarany 3–1 3–4 1–1 1–2 0–1 1–2 2–0 1–1 2–0 Icasa 2–1 0–0 0–2 1–0 0–1 1–0 2–0 3–1 3–0 Luverdense 5–1 1–0 2–0 1–1 2–1 2–2 3–2 2–1 0–2 Paysandu 0–0 2–1 0–1 1–1 1–1 2–0 4–0 0–0 5–1 Salgueiro 1–1 2–2 0–0 3–0 2–1 6–2 1–1 2–2 2–0 Santa Cruz 6–1 1–0 1–2 1–1 4–0 2–1 3–3 0–0 2–1 Treze 4–0 0–0 0–2 3–1 2–1 1–2 1–0 4–0 2–1 complete Group B main WDL Group B QR MAC Macaé DCA Duque de Caxias CHA Chapecoense OES Oeste CAX Caxias BRS Brasiliense VIL Vila Nova MAD Madureira STA Santo André TUP Tupi 9 5 4 33 17 9 2 7 22 23 8 5 5 24 12 8 5 5 22 19 8 3 7 23 26 7 2 9 25 29 6 5 7 27 26 6 5 7 17 21 3 9 6 14 22 3 5 10 13 25 #D0F0C0 Advances to Final Stage A A A A #FFCCCC Relegation to Série D R R complete Matches main FBR grey BRS CAX CHA DCA MAC MAD OES STA TUP VIL Brasiliense 2–1 1–1 3–2 1–3 2–0 3–2 1–2 2–1 4–2 Caxias 3–0 2–0 0–1 0–4 2–0 3–2 0–0 1–0 2–1 Chapecoense 3–0 4–0 3–1 1–1 1–0 1–0 0–0 5–0 3–2 Duque de Caxias 1–0 2–1 0–1 2–1 0–2 0–0 3–2 2–1 1–1 Macaé 2–2 4–1 0–0 2–1 0–0 0–2 3–1 4–2 3–0 Madureira 1–0 1–1 2–1 1–2 2–1 1–1 1–1 1–0 3–1 Oeste 2–1 1–2 1–0 1–0 1–1 0–0 2–1 1–0 3–1 Santo André 0–3 2–1 0–0 0–1 0–3 1–0 1–1 1–1 0–0 Tupi 2–0 2–2 1–0 0–2 0–1 2–1 0–1 0–0 1–1 Vila Nova 1–0 0–1 1–0 4–1 1–0 5–1 4–1 2–2 0–0 complete Final stage Quarterfinals Semifinals Finals Fortaleza 1 1 2 Oeste 1 3 4 Luverdense 0 1 1 Chapecoense 3 0 3 Duque de Caxias 1 0 1 Icasa 2 0 2 Macaé 0 3 3 Paysandu 2 2 4 Oeste 1 0 1 Chapecoense 0 0 0 Icasa (a) 2 2 4 Paysandu 3 1 4 Oeste 0 2 2 Icasa 0 0 0 Top goalscorers GoalsPlayerTeam11BRA Denis MarquesSanta Cruz10BRA RubinhoLuverdense9BRA Pedro JúniorVila Nova8BRA JonesMacaéBRA ZambiMacaé7BRA Bruno VeigaDuque de CaxiasBRA WalFortaleza Source:http://www2.cbf.com.br/Competições/Série%20C/Goal%20Scoring/2012 Scorers CAMPEONATO BRASILEIRO SÉRIE C (3A DIVISION) - 2012 CBF 8 December 2012 References 2 Category:Campeonato Brasileiro Série C seasons 3
