The Jayhawks played their home games at Allen Fieldhouse as a member of the Big 12 Conference. They finished the season 25–10, 14–4 in Big 12 play to win the Big 12 regular season championship. They advanced to the semifinals of the Big 12 tournament where they lost to Iowa State. They received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament where they defeated Eastern Kentucky in the round of 64 before losing in the round of 32 to Stanford. On February 24, 2014, the Jayhawks made history in the "modern era of basketball" by clinching their 10th consecutive Big 12 regular season championship. Only UCLA had won more consecutive "power conference" championships with 13 (1967–1979).Decade of Dominance http://www2.kusports.com/news/2014/feb/25/decade-dominance-kansas-earns-share-10th-straight-/ kusports.com Head Coach Bill Self also made history by passing John Wooden and Adolph Rupp (nine consecutive regular season conference championships) for the most consecutive conference championships all-time.The Bill Self Effect https://bleacherreport.com/articles/1972580-a-decade-of-dominance-kansas-clinches-unprecedented-10th-straight-big-12-title bleacherreport.com Pre-season Departures Name Position Reason Kevin Young Forward Graduation Jeff Withey Center Graduation Travis Releford Guard Graduation Elijah Johnson Guard Graduation Ben McLemore Guard Entered NBA draftBen McLemore declares for NBA draft https://www.espn.com/nba/draft2013/story/_/id/9152600/ben-mclemore-kansas-jayhawks-declares-nba-draft ESPN.com Transfers Name Position Old school New school Hunter Mickelson PF Arkansas KansasGoodman Jeff April 25, 2013 Kansas lands Arkansas transfer Hunter Mickelson - CBSSports.com https://www.cbssports.com/college-basketball/news/kansas-lands-arkansas-transfer-hunter-mickelson/ CBSSports.com November 1, 2017 Rio Adams G KansasADAMS TO TRANSFER FROM KANSAS http://www.kuathletics.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/040313aab.html KUAthletics.com Odessa CollegeAnrio Adams NJCAA Profile http://stats.njcaa.org/sports/mbkb/2013-14/div1/players/anrioadamsbfap NJCAA.org Tarik Black F Memphis KansasKansas set to add Memphis transfer Tarik Black http://www.cbssports.com/collegebasketball/blog/eye-on-college-basketball/22274590/kansas-set-to-add-memphis-transfer-tarik-black CBSSports.com Coaching changes Coach Old Position New Position Joe Dooley Kansas Assistant Florida Gulf Coast Head CoachWelcome to #DunkCity!
