This was Dublin's fourth final and Tyrone's first. On the three previous occasions Dublin had reached the final in 2003, 2004 and 2009, they had finished as runners-up. In 2010 they would win their first title. On their way to the final, Tyrone had knocked out Cork ladies' football in the quarter-final, interrupting their monopoly of the All-Ireland for one year. However Tyrone proved to be no match for Dublin in the final. At half-time Dublin led by 2–8 to 0–5. With twenty minutes remaining, Dublin led by 16 points and that margin would separate the two teams at the finish. Sinéad Aherne scored 2–7 to claim the Player of the Match award. http://ladiesgaelic.ie/news/tg4-all-ireland-ladies-senior-football-championship-final/ TG4 All-Ireland Ladies senior football championship final ladiesgaelic.ie 29 September 2010 4 April 2018https://www.breakingnews.ie/sport/other/dublin-ladies-complete-maiden-win-of-all-ireland-football-title-475230.html Dublin Ladies complete maiden win of All-Ireland Football title www.breakingnews.ie 26 September 2010 4 April 2018http://www.the42.ie/dublin-ladies-2010-all-ireland-champions-2992144-Sep2016/ The day the Dublin Ladies turned the screw www.the42.ie 23 September 2016 4 April 2018https://www.rte.ie/sport/ladies-football/2010/0821/269543-ladiesfootball/ Tyrone stun Cork in Ladies quarter-final www.rte.ie 21 August 2010 4 April 2018 Route to the Final 2010 All-Ireland Senior Ladies' Football Championship Match info 26 September 2010 Croke Park, Dublin Dublin ladies' football Sinéad Aherne (2-7)Amy McGuinness (1-3)Siobhán McGrath (0-1)Elaine Kelly (0-2)Lyndsey Davey (0-2)Gemma Fay (0-1)Lindsay Peat (0-1) 3–16; 0–9 Tyrone ladies' football Gemma Begley (0-4)Joline Donnelly (0-3)Cathy Donnelly (0-1)Nina Murphy (0-1) K Delahunty (Tipperary) http://ladiesgaelic.ie/news/tg4-all-ireland-ladies-senior-football-championship-final/ TG4 All-Ireland Ladies senior football championship final ladiesgaelic.ie 29 September 2010 4 April 2018https://www.breakingnews.ie/sport/other/dublin-ladies-complete-maiden-win-of-all-ireland-football-title-475230.html Dublin Ladies complete maiden win of All-Ireland Football title www.breakingnews.ie 26 September 2010 4 April 2018https://www.sportsfile.com/more-images/10090261/ Dublin v Tyrone - TG4 All-Ireland Senior Ladies Football Championship Final Photos www.sportsfile.com 26 September 2010 4 April 2018 21,750 Teams Manager: Gerry McGill Team:1 Clíodhna O'Connor2 Rachel Ruddy3 Avril Cluxton4 Maria Kavanagh5 Siobhán McGrath6 Sorcha Furlong7 Gemma Fay8 Denise Masterson (c)9 Niamh McEvoy (Parnells) 1 [Note 1]10 Mary Nevin11 Amy McGuinness12 Lindsay Peat13 Lyndsey Davey14 Sinéad Aherne 15 Elaine Kelly Substitutes:B.
