Team Bath would eventually retain the title but in the grand final it was Mavericks who started the stronger and were leading 10–12 after the first quarter and 21–22 at half time. Both Rachel Dunn and Pamela Cookey initially underperformed for Team Bath. However in the third quarter, Cookey scored 7/8 while Player of the Match, Geva Mentor, made a number of key turnovers to deny Mavericks shooting opportunities. Their combined efforts saw Team Bath take the lead for the first time. However a return of 9/9 from Mavericks' Louisa Brownfield saw Team Bath lead by just 36–35 after three quarters. With just four minutes remaining the score was still 45–45. However after an injury time out, Team Bath returned the stronger with both Dunn and Cookey converting the goals that eventually saw them finish as winners by 53–45.https://womensportreport.com/team-bath-defend-their-super/wn/40 Team Bath defend their Super League Title womensportreport.com 5 February 2020 9 June 2007 Route to the Final 2006–07 Netball Superleague season Match summary #EEEEEE 9 June 2007 Team Bath 53 Galleria Mavericks 45 10–12 21–22 36–35 53–45 Pamela Cookey 22 26Rachel Dunn 31 41 Louisa Brownfield 28 34Joanne Harten 15 19 Guildford Spectrumhttps://womensportreport.com/team-bath-defend-their-super/wn/40 Team Bath defend their Super League Title womensportreport.com 5 February 2020 9 June 2007 Bill AlexanderJudith Groves Sky Sports Teams Head Coach: Jan Crabtree Starting 7:GS Rachel DunnGA Pamela CookeyWA Tamsin GreenwayC Sara BaymanWD Natalie SeatonGD Ursula Bowers (c)GK Geva Mentor Substitutes:C Joanna Binns for Bayman (Q3) Squad: http://www.teambath.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Team-Bath-Netball-2006-07-squad.jpg 2006–07 Team Bath squad www.teambath.com 1 April 2020 10 January 2020 https://web.archive.org/web/20200110220111/https://www.teambath.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Team-Bath-Netball-2006-07-squad.jpgGS/GD/GK Eboni Beckford-ChambersC/WA Sasha CorbinGD/GK Gemma FletcherGD/GK/WD Stacey FrancisC/WA Serena GuthrieGD/GK Samantha PerryGA/GS Monique Wood Head Coach: Maggie JacksonAssistant Coaches: Fiona Murtagh and Sam Birdhttps://www.ournetballhistory.org.uk/content/events/nsl/2007-netball-super-league-final-bath-v-mavericks-guildford-9th-june 2007 Netball Super League Final, Bath v Mavericks, Guildford, 9th June www.ournetballhistory.org.uk 9 June 2007 23 April 2024 2 August 2021 https://web.archive.org/web/20210802014059/https://www.ournetballhistory.org.uk/content/events/nsl/2007-netball-super-league-final-bath-v-mavericks-guildford-9th-june live Starting 7:GS Joanne HartenGA Louisa BrownfieldWA Karen AtkinsonC Deb JonesWD Naomi SiddallGD Amanda NewtonGK Janet Coulburne Substitutes: Changes: References Category:2007 in English netball 2006-07 Category:Team Bath (netball) matches Category:London Mavericks matches Netball Superleague Category:Sport in Guildford Category:2000s in Surrey
