Background
In August 2016, Seventeen held their first concerts in Japan, performing five shows in Osaka and Tokyo under the title 2016 Like Seventeen – Shining Diamond in Japan Concert.ja:2016 'LIKE SEVENTEEN - Shining Diamond' in Japan CONCERT https://www.seventeen-17.jp/statics/shining_diamond SEVENTEEN Japan official site Pledis Entertainment ja August 11, 2026 Kstyle reported that approximately 350,000 ticket applications had been received for around 12,000 available seats. The title was taken from Seventeen's greeting, "Say the name, Seventeen". According to the announcement, it represented the group's intention to reintroduce themselves to the Japanese audience through an arena-scale concert. At the time, Seventeen had not formally debuted or released an original record in Japan.
Concert synopsis
