Clements further commented that "only Petersen and Kim gave any sense that they chose music they genuinely loved" (Rachmaninov's 1st and Beethoven's 4th respectively), while describing Pisarenko as "another pianist with steely technique and limited musical imagination in the current Russian mould."Andrew Clements Leeds International Piano competition final – first prize for Anna Tcybuleva, not the obvious choice https://www.theguardian.com/music/2015/sep/14/leeds-piano-comp-final-first-prize-for-anna-tcybuleva-not-the-obvious-choice The Guardian 2015-09-14 2016-09-18Mark Benedetti Leeds Piano Competition Gold Medal Goes to Anna Tcybuleva https://www.wqxr.org/story/leeds-international-piano-competition-anna-tcybuleva/ WQXR 2015-09-14 2018-01-06Anna Tcybuleva wins prestigious Leeds International Piano Competition 2015 https://www.pianistmagazine.com/news/general/anna-tcybuleva-wins-prestigious-leeds-international-piano-competition Pianist Magazine 2015-09-23 2018-01-06 References External links Official website Category:Leeds International Piano Competition Category:August 2015 in the United Kingdom Category:September 2015 in the United Kingdom Category:2010s in Leeds
