This season was notable for the fact that it expanded the league to include three new divisions: Northern NSW, Victoria and Western Australia. These new divisions, combined with the divisions of prior years (being ACT, NSW, Queensland, South Australia and Tasmania), totalled to eight divisional leagues that Australian players then competed in. The winners of each divisional league went on to compete in a finals playoff tournament at the end of the season. This culminated in a grand final in which North Eastern MetroStars were crowned as National Premier Leagues Champions, and were thus qualified for the 2015 FFA Cup Round of 32.http://www.footballaustralia.com.au/article/cup-spot-the-reward-in-ps4-npl-finals-series/1jo74fgt8tt712gwfdap1ao3z FFA Cup spot the reward in PS4 NPL Finals series Football Federation Australia 15 September 2014 3 League tables ACT 2014 Capital Football season main WDL QR COO Cooma BEL Belconnen United CAO Canberra Olympic CAN Canberra FFA FFA Centre of Excellence TUG Tuggeranong United WOD Woden Valley MON Monaro Panthers CAC Canberra City 13 1 2 54 17 11 2 3 53 24 C 8 3 5 41 28 8 1 7 51 28 7 1 8 35 39 6 0 10 26 45 5 2 9 20 32 4 2 10 26 59 3 2 11 16 50 R #ACE1AF 2014 National Premier Leagues Finals NPLF #D0F0C0 2014 ACT Finals AF AF AF #FFCCCC Relegated to the 2015 ACT Division 1 R 1) points; 2) goal difference; 3) number of goals scored. 24 August 2014 foxsportspulse.com Finals Semi-finals Preliminary final Grand final 1 Cooma 0 2 Belconnen United 6 3 Canberra Olympic 2 4 Canberra FC 3 1 Cooma 0 4 Canberra FC 3 2 Belconnen United 3 (3) 4 Canberra FC 3 (2) NSW 2014 Football NSW season main WDL QR BWE Bonnyrigg White Eagles BLS Blacktown Spartans BLC Blacktown City SYO Sydney Olympic ROC Rockdale City Suns SUT Sutherland Sharks SCW South Coast Wolves MAR Marconi Stallions SYU Sydney United 58 MAN Manly United API APIA Leichhardt Tigers STG St George 15 2 5 41 21 15 1 6 55 34 14 2 6 51 22 C 10 5 7 35 27 10 4 8 26 24 9 3 10 43 42 7 6 9 32 35 7 4 11 28 36 6 6 10 25 29 7 3 12 31 46 4 8 10 31 51 4 4 14 18 49 R #ACE1AF 2014 National Premier Leagues Finals NPLF #D0F0C0 2014 NSW Finals NF NF NF NF #FFCCCC Relegated to the 2015 NPL NSW 2 R 1) points; 2) goal difference; 3) number of goals scored. 17 August 2014 foxsportspulse.com Finals Qualifying final Major semi-final Grand final Elimination final Minor semi-final Preliminary final 2 Blacktown Spartans 0 3 Blacktown City 3 4 Sydney Olympic 2 5 Rockdale City Suns 1 1 Bonnyrigg White Eagles 0 3 Blacktown City 1 2 Blacktown Spartans 0 4 Sydney Olympic 3 1 Bonnyrigg White Eagles 1 (5) 4 Sydney Olympic 1 (6) 3 Blacktown City 2 4 Sydney Olympic 1 Northern NSW 2014 Northern NSW Football season main WDL QR NEW Newcastle Jets Youth WES Weston Workers LAM Lambton Jaffas CHA Charlestown City Blues EDG Edgeworth Eagles HAM Hamilton Olympic SOU South Cardiff ADA Adamstown Rosebud BRO Broadmeadow Magic LAK Lake Macquarie City 10 4 4 41 24 9 5 4 34 29 9 3 6 37 22 C 8 4 6 31 30 7 6 5 28 19 7 5 6 30 28 6 3 9 24 34 6 3 9 24 41 6 2 10 24 27 3 3 12 25 44 R #D0F0C0 2014 Northern NSW Finals NNF NNF NNF NNF #ACE1AF 2014 National Premier Leagues Finals As an A-League Youth team, Newcastle Jets Youth were unable to claim Northern NSW's National Premier Leagues Finals spot, which was given to the runners up.http://www.nationalpremierleagues.com.au/article/just-one-more-to-be-decided/dyix2hgx817j1kgativv7tbjq Just one more to be decided 27 August 2014 nationalpremierleagues.com.au Football Federation Australia 1 September 2014 NPLF #FFCCCC Relegated to the 2015 Northern NSW State League R 1) points; 2) goal difference; 3) number of goals scored. 10 August 2014 foxsportspulse.com Finals Qualifying final Major semi-final Grand final Elimination final Minor semi-final Preliminary final 2 Weston Workers 3 3 Lambton Jaffas 2 4 Charlestown City Blues 2 5 Edgeworth Eagles 1 1 Newcastle Jets Youth 2 2 Weston Workers 3 3 Lambton Jaffas 3 4 Charlestown City Blues 1 1 Newcastle Jets Youth 3 3 Lambton Jaffas 4 2 Weston Workers 0 3 Lambton Jaffas 2 Queensland 2014 Football Queensland season main WDL QR PAL Palm Beach FAR Far North Queensland OLY Olympic FC BRS Brisbane Strikers MOR Moreton Bay United RED Redlands United BRC Brisbane City SUN Sunshine Coast HMA Harimau Muda Harimau Muda are not eligible for the NPL Finals.
