The 2013 season was the 8th in franchise history. After making the Championship game in 2012, the Rush started the 2013 season with only a single win in their first five games. They won 7 of their next 8 games to improve to 8-5, tied for first in the division. Losses to division rivals Colorado and Calgary dropped the Rush to 3rd place and they faced the second place Washington Stealth in the first round of the playoffs. But the Stealth ended any thoughts the Rush had of returning to the Championship game, winning 12-11 in the division semi-finals.http://www.nll.com/news_article/show/250889 Call it a comeback: Stealth brush by Rush in West Semifinal NLL.com April 27, 2013 September 7, 2013 Regular season Conference standings EDM Game log Reference:http://www.nll.com/schedule/team_instance/243879?subseason=86199 NLL.com Edmonton Rush schedule September 27, 2012Rexall Place 1/13/2013 Toronto Rock 9 10 6,523 1/20/2013 Washington Stealth Comcast Arena Comcast Arena (Everett) 1 18 10 3,766 1/25/2013 Washington Stealth 10 12 5,416 2/2/2013 Calgary Roughnecks 15 18 7,349 2/9/2013 Calgary Roughnecks Scotiabank Saddledome 1 8 9 10,002 2/15/2013 Washington Stealth 15 10 5,627 2/16/2013 Colorado Mammoth Pepsi Center 1 14 7 17,059 2/22/2013 Minnesota Swarm 8 13 6,292 2/24/2013 Minnesota Swarm Xcel Energy Center 1 14 9 6,882 3/2/2013 Calgary Roughnecks Scotiabank Saddledome 1 18 13 11,385 3/16/2013 Rochester Knighthawks Blue Cross Arena 1 11 9 7,009 3/23/2013 Buffalo Bandits First Niagara Center 1 14 7 16,629 3/24/2013 Toronto Rock Air Canada Centre 1 17 12 9,947 4/6/2013 Colorado Mammoth 7 9 7,172 4/14/2013 Rochester Knighthawks 14 10 6,116 4/20/2013 Calgary Roughnecks 11 12 9213 Playoffs Game log Rexall Place 4/27/2013 Washington Stealth Comcast Arena Comcast Arena (Everett) 1 11 12 3022 Transactions Trades July 27, 2012http://www.edmontonrush.com/edmrush_news_details_07-27-12.php edmontonrush.com WILLIAMS IS TRADED, RUSH ACQUIRE JARRETT DAVIS July 28, 2012 August 13, 2012 https://web.archive.org/web/20120731010120/http://www.edmontonrush.com/edmrush_news_details_07-27-12.php July 31, 2012 dead mdy-all To Edmonton Rush2nd round pick in 2013 Entry Draft - Riley Loewen (F)2nd round pick in 2013 Entry Draft - Adrian Sorichetti (T) To Minnesota SwarmShawn Williams (F) July 27, 2012 To Edmonton RushJarrett Davis (F) To Rochester KnighthawksPaul Rabil (F) October 1, 2012 To Edmonton Rush4th round pick in 2012 Entry Draft - Simon Giourmetakis (F)4th round pick in 2012 Entry Draft - Mitchell Bannister (T) To Minnesota Swarm4th round pick in 2012 Entry Draft - Tyler Tanguay (T)5th round pick in 2012 Entry Draft - Matt Gibson (F)3rd round pick in 2013 Entry Draft - Zach Palmer (F) November 14, 2012http://www.ilindoor.com/2012/11/14/breaking-bandits-trade-jeremy-thompson-to-rush-for-aaron-wilson-draft-pick/ Chavez, Bob Breaking: Bandits trade Jeremy Thompson to Rush for Aaron Wilson, draft pick November 14, 2012 November 14, 2012 ILIndoor.com https://web.archive.org/web/20121124014401/http://www.ilindoor.com/2012/11/14/breaking-bandits-trade-jeremy-thompson-to-rush-for-aaron-wilson-draft-pick/ November 24, 2012 dead mdy-all To Edmonton RushJeremy Thompson (T) To Buffalo BanditsAaron Wilson (F)2nd round pick in 2013 Entry Draft - Nick Diachenko (D) November 15, 2012 To Edmonton RushCory Conway (F)*6th round pick in 2013 Entry Draft - Nicholas Jonas (D) To Calgary Roughnecks**3rd round pick in 2014 Entry Draft - Ty Thompson (F) *Later traded to the Minnesota Swarm **Later traded to the New England Black Wolves Entry Draft The 2012 NLL Entry Draft took place on October 1, 2012.http://www.nll.com/news_article/show/178633 2012 Draft Results: Rush select Mark Matthews first October 1, 2012 October 6, 2012 NLL.com The Rush made the following selections: #CCFFCC x darkgray Denotes player who won at least one NLL Award #C0C0C0 # darkgray Denotes player who never played in the NLL regular season or playoffs RoundOverallPlayerCollege/Club 1 1 Mark Matthewsx (F) University of Denver 1 8 Curtis Knight (F) Whitby, Ontario 2 15 Michael Cudmore (D) University of Hartford 3 28 Michael Burke (F) Brampton, Ontario 4 33 Simon Giourmetakis# (F) Canisius College 4 35 Mitchell Banister (T) Okotoks, Alberta 6 55 Kyle Goodchild# (D) University of Hartford Roster 2013 Edmonton Rush Black Silver Silver #FFFFFF https://web.archive.org/web/20110527045351/http://www.edmontonrush.com/edmrush_roster_player.php Roster 2012-01-08 77 CAN Aaron Bold 50 CAN Brodie MacDonald 16 CAN Chris Corbeil 3 13 CAN Jeff Cornwall 89 CAN Mike Cudmore 24 CAN Ryan Dilks  6 CAN John Lintz  2 CAN Brett Mydske 3  4 CAN Kyle Rubisch 3  3 CAN Jarrett Toll 20 CAN Mitch Bannister 61 CAN Mike Burke 91 CAN Cory Conway 23 CAN Jarrett Davis 88 CAN Zack Greer  9 CAN Curtis Knight 42 CAN Mark Matthews 15 CAN Corey Small 87 CAN Alex Turner 44 CAN Ryan Ward 1 33 CAN John LaFontaine 81 CAN Jimmy Quinlan 1 74 Iroquois Jeremy Thompson 18 CAN Jesse Fehr 27 CAN Simon Giourmetakis 31 CAN David Marrese 71 CAN Tyler Codron -- CAN Eric Lewthwaite -- CAN Buck Stobart -- CAN Dane Stevens -- CAN Andrew Turner Derek Keenan Todd Lorenz - Offensive Coach Devan Wray - Defensive Coach See also 2013 NLL season References Edmonton Rush Category:Edmonton Rush seasons
