The Dolphins, led by third year head coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin, played their home games at Swisher Gymnasium and were members of the Atlantic Sun Conference. They finished the season 22–11, 11–3 in A-Sun play to finish in second place. They won the Atlantic Sun Tournament to earn an automatic trip to the NCAA women's tournament for the first time in school history where they lost to South Carolina in the first round. Media All home games and conference road games were shown on ESPN3 or A-Sun.TV. NCAA invitation The Jacksonville Dolphins took on the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles, who had not lost a game to a conference opponent on their home court in the prior 71 games, in the Atlantic Sun championship game. The Dolphins did not hold the lead in the second half until Brandi Buie hit a baseline jumper with just over three seconds left in the game. The Eagles were unable to score on the last possession, so Jacksonville won the tournament championship and an invitation to their first ever NCAA tournament. The Dolphins are now on an eight-game winning streak.https://www.espn.com/womens-college-basketball/recap?gameId=400870734 Jacksonville vs. Florida Gulf Coast - Game Recap - March 13, 2016 - ESPN ESPN.com 2016-03-13 Roster w 2015 Jacksonville Dolphins y y w Loliya Briggs 1 G 5 11 Sr y Gainesville, FL Potter's House Christian Acad.Pittsburgh w Keanua Williams 3 G 5 10 So Sumter, SC Crestwood w Brandi Buie 4 G 5 8 So Tampa, FL Randolph-Clay w Jillah Moede 5 G 5 8 Fr Houston, TX Centennial w Jasmyn Brown 10 G 5 10 Fr Haines City, FL Haines City w Kimberly Dawkins 13 F 6 0 Jr Atlanta, GA Jonesboro w Kayla Gordon 15 F 6 0 So Meridian, MS Meridian w Christin Mercer 21 F 6 1 Jr y Douglasville, GA Douglas CountyFlorida w Sherranda Reddick 22 G 5 8 Jr Jacksonville, FL Ribault w Briona Brown 24 F 5 11 Sr Haines City, FL Haines City w Shalonda Neely 42 C 6 0 Fr Freeport, Grand Bahama Arlington Country Day Yolett McPhee-McCuin (Rhode Island) Darnell Haney (Florida A&M) Camille Collier (Wake Forest) Ed Mahan (Clemson) http://www.judolphins.com/sports/wbkb/2015-16/roster Schedule http://www.judolphins.com/sports/wbkb/2015-16/schedule 2015-16 Women's Basketball Schedule 2016-02-26 https://web.archive.org/web/20160315114235/http://www.judolphins.com/sports/wbkb/2015-16/schedule 2016-03-15 dead yes |- !colspan=9 style="background:#004D40; color:#FFFFFF;"| Exhibition 11/07/2015 7:00 pm yes Flagler College Swisher Gymnasium Jacksonville, FL 446 78–41 |- !colspan=9 style="background:#004D40; color:#FFFFFF;"| Non-conference regular season 11/13/2015 6:00 pm yes yes South Florida 20 USF Sun Dome Tampa, FL Preseason WNIT First Round   52–74 0–1 11/20/2015 8:15 pm yes yes Texas–Arlington College Park Center Arlington, TX Preseason WNIT Consolation round 804 54–56 0–2 11/21/2015 6:00 pm yes yes Dartmouth College Park Center Arlington, TX Preseason WNIT Consolation round   51–44 1–2 11/24/2015 7:00 pm yes Thomas University Swisher Gymnasium Jacksonville, FL 135 ESPN3 88–50 2–2 11/27/2015 2:00 pm yes yes UNC Wilmington Trask Coliseum Wilmington, NC UNCW Hampton Inn Thanksgiving Classic 344 49–51 2–3 11/28/2015 12:00 pm yes yes Bowling Green Trask Coliseum Wilmington, NC UNCW Hampton Inn Thanksgiving Classic   69–72 OT 2–4 12/01/2015 7:00 pm yes Edward Waters Swisher Gymnasium Jacksonville, FL 218 ESPN3 90–51 3–4 12/06/2015 12:00 pm yes FIU Swisher Gymnasium Jacksonville, FL 217 ESPN3 80–44 4–4 12/12/2015 1:00 pm yes yes Bethune-Cookman Moore Gymnasium Daytona Beach, FL 108 63–53 5–4 12/14/2015 11:00 am yes yes Wake Forest LJVM Coliseum Winston-Salem, NC 8,849 51–57 5–5 12/17/2015 11:00 am yes Murray State Swisher Gymnasium Jacksonville, FL 675 ESPN3 79–54 6–5 12/21/2015 7:00 pm yes yes Syracuse Carrier Dome Syracuse, NY 404 49–65 6–6 12/28/2015 2:00 pm yes yes Florida State 15 Donald L.
