Season summary Coach Marcus Jackson's final season at Wright State was filled with as much promise as disappointment. There were extended winning streaks and maddening losing spells. The hot young coach seemed to be building a program to last, but internal disagreements came to light following on-court high jinks by Northern Kentucky, leading eventually to Jackson's dismissal at the end of the season. https://www.daytondailynews.com/sports/archdeacon-marcus-jackson-first-coach-to-lead-wright-state-to-20-win-season-ncaa-tourney-dies-at-82/QB5AKZFGTRG2NELLS3XN3P35NA/ Archdeacon: Marcus Jackson, first coach to lead Wright State to 20-win season, NCAA tourney, dies at 82 5 September 2023 Dayton Daily News September 5, 2023 Roster 1977 Wright State Raiders y y Bob Cook n basketball 22 G 6 4 175 jr Miamisburg, Ohio Miamisburg Dan Huguely n basketball 33 F 6 8 190 jr Dayton, Ohio Rossevelt Alan McGee n basketball 23 G 6 1 173 jr Fort Wayne, Indiana North Side Bob Shaefer n basketball 35 FC 6 7 208 jr Kettering, Ohio Alter Jimmy Carter n basketball G 6 4 jr Jackson, Mississippi Grand View Bob Fitzpatrick n basketball 40 F 6 6 198 so Cincinnati, Ohio Mt.
