That play enabled the Colorado Buffaloes to defeat the Missouri Tigers by scoring a touchdown on the last play of their game on October 6, 1990. The ensuing controversy cast doubt on Colorado's claim to NCAA Division I-A's 1990 national championship. It has been called one of the top memorable moments and blunders in college football history.College Football's Best of the Last 20 Years https://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/football/2002-11-19-memorable-moments_x.htm USA Today November 19, 2002 November 21, 2006HEART STOPPERS AND HAIL MARYS Ted Mandell http://www.nd.edu/~tmandell/finishestable.html Hardwood Press Book/CD September 25, 2005 November 21, 2006 https://web.archive.org/web/20061123094839/http://www.nd.edu/~tmandell/finishestable.html November 23, 2006 live Roster 1990 Missouri Tigers f 79 Fr Mike Bedosky T 4 Sr Linzy Collins WR 50 So Brad Funk C 7 Sr Kent Kiefer QB 6 Sr Damon Mays WR y 74 Jr Russ McCullough T 78 Sr Rick Trumball T 76 Sr Don Wright G 21 Sr Harry Colon DB y 97 Jr Mario Johnson DT y 99 Sr Rob Harper DE 72 Fr George Hunt DT 59 Fr Rick Lyle DE y 47 So Mike Ringgenberg LB 3 So Jeff Jacke K Bob Stull Dirk Koetter – Offensive coordinator Mike Ward – Running backs Larry Hoefer – Wide receivers Andy Reid – Offensive line Kevin Faulkner – Tight ends Michael Church – Defensive coordinator & linebackers Mo Lattimore – Defensive line Steve Telander – co-linebackers Ken Flajole – defensive backs 1991 NFL draft Player Position Round Pick NFL club Harry Colon Defensive back 8 196 New England Patriots Tim Bruton Tight end 8 208 Indianapolis Colts Damon Mays Wide receiver9 235 Dallas Cowboys Linzy Collins Wide receiver 12 316 Green Bay Packers https://www.pro-football-reference.com/draft/1991.htm dead https://web.archive.org/web/20071220211219/http://www.pro-football-reference.com/draft/1991.htm 2007-12-20 1991 NFL Draft Listing - Pro-Football-Reference.com References Missouri Category:Missouri Tigers football seasons Missouri Tigers football
