Penn State's schedule originally featured four active members but Syracuse was later suspended for the 1935 season due to only playing 3 league contests in 1934. The team instead received an honorable mention by the association. As a fix to future scheduling issues the association removed its four active member game mandate and instead would choose a champion based on strength of schedule. This change also made every school actively participating in the association into an active member.Freunsch Walt 14 January 1936 Booters Denied Eastern Crown on Technicality Daily Collegian https://panewsarchive.psu.edu/lccn/sn85054903/1936-01-14/ed-1/seq-1/#date1=01%2F01%2F1935&city=&rows=20&words=Soccer&language=&sequence=0&lccn=sn85054903&index=18&sort=date&county=&date2=5%2F31%2F1936&frequency=&ortext=soccer%2C+booters%2C+soccermen%2C+boolers&proxtext=&year=&phrasetext=&andtext=&proxValue=&dateFilterType=yearRange&page=3 24 May 2021 Squad Roster Schedule yes no |- !colspan=8 style="Penn State Nittany Lions #FFFFFF"| Regular season |- w October 12 1:00 p.m. Gettysburg New Beaver Field State College, PA 4–0 2500 1–0–0 w October 19 1:00 p.m. Temple New Beaver Field State College, PA 4–0 2–0–0 w October 26 2:00 p.m. Lafayette New Beaver Field State College, PA 1–0 3–0–0 w October 26 yes Army West Point, NY 6–0 4–0–0 w November 2 Syracuse New Beaver Field State College, PA 4–0 5–0–0 w November 9 1:00 p.m. yes Springfield College South Field Pitch Springfield, MA 1-0 2000 6–0–0 w November 16 11:00 a.m. yes Navy Annapolis, MD 2–0 7–0–0 8 style="Penn State Nittany Lions #FFFFFF" Postseason - schedule Swalm Townsend 12 November 1935 Nittany Booter Down Springfield In 1-to-0 Contest Daily Collegian https://panewsarchive.psu.edu/lccn/sn85054903/1935-11-12/ed-1/seq-3/#date1=01%2F01%2F1935&city=&rows=20&words=Booters+soccer&language=&sequence=0&lccn=sn85054903&index=6&sort=date&county=&date2=5%2F31%2F1936&frequency=&ortext=soccer%2C+booters%2C+soccermen%2C+boolers&proxtext=&year=&phrasetext=&andtext=&proxValue=&dateFilterType=yearRange&page=3 24 May 20211 March 1935 Sports Managers Release 3 Cards for '35 Season Daily Collegian https://panewsarchive.psu.edu/lccn/sn85054903/1935-03-01/ed-1/seq-1/#date1=01%2F01%2F1934&city=&rows=20&words=soccer+Soccer&language=&sequence=0&lccn=sn85054903&index=5&sort=date&county=&date2=5%2F31%2F1935&frequency=&ortext=soccer%2C+booters%2C+soccermen%2C+boolers&proxtext=&year=&phrasetext=&andtext=&proxValue=&dateFilterType=yearRange&page=4 24 May 202119 November 1935 Booters End 3rd Undefeated Season by Defeating Navy 2-to-0 Daily Collegian https://panewsarchive.psu.edu/lccn/sn85054903/1935-11-19/ed-1/seq-3/#date1=01%2F01%2F1935&city=&rows=20&words=booters+Booters+soccer+Soccer&language=&sequence=0&lccn=sn85054903&index=9&sort=date&county=&date2=5%2F31%2F1936&frequency=&ortext=soccer%2C+booters%2C+soccermen%2C+boolers&proxtext=&year=&phrasetext=&andtext=&proxValue=&dateFilterType=yearRange&page=3 24 May 2021Swalm Townsend 11 October 1935 Lion Booters, Harriers Meet Gettysburg, Lehigh Here Tomorrow Daily Collegian https://panewsarchive.psu.edu/lccn/sn85054903/1935-10-11/ed-1/seq-3/#date1=01%2F01%2F1935&city=&rows=20&andtext=&words=Booters+soccer&language=&sequence=0&lccn=sn85054903&index=11&sort=date&county=&date2=5%2F31%2F1936&frequency=&proxtext=&year=&phrasetext=&ortext=soccer%2C+booters%2C+soccermen%2C+boolers&proxValue=&dateFilterType=yearRange&page=2 24 May 2021Swalm Townsend 15 October 1935 Soccer Team Wins 4-0 Daily Collegian https://panewsarchive.psu.edu/lccn/sn85054903/1935-10-15/ed-1/seq-3/#date1=01%2F01%2F1935&city=&rows=20&andtext=&words=booters+soccer+Soccer&language=&sequence=0&lccn=sn85054903&index=14&sort=date&county=&date2=5%2F31%2F1936&frequency=&proxtext=&year=&phrasetext=&ortext=soccer%2C+booters%2C+soccermen%2C+boolers&proxValue=&dateFilterType=yearRange&page=2 24 May 2021Swalm Townsend 22 October 1935 Nittany Booters Sink Temple Owls With 4-0 Score Daily Collegian https://panewsarchive.psu.edu/lccn/sn85054903/1935-10-22/ed-1/seq-3/#date1=01%2F01%2F1935&city=&rows=20&andtext=&words=Booters+soccer&language=&sequence=0&lccn=sn85054903&index=17&sort=date&county=&date2=5%2F31%2F1936&frequency=&proxtext=&year=&phrasetext=&ortext=soccer%2C+booters%2C+soccermen%2C+boolers&proxValue=&dateFilterType=yearRange&page=2 24 May 2021Swalm Townsend 25 October 1935 Booters To Face Leopards in 3rd Starts of Season Daily Collegian https://panewsarchive.psu.edu/lccn/sn85054903/1935-10-25/ed-1/seq-3/#date1=01%2F01%2F1935&city=&rows=20&andtext=&words=Booters+soccer&language=&sequence=0&lccn=sn85054903&index=18&sort=date&county=&date2=5%2F31%2F1936&frequency=&proxtext=&year=&phrasetext=&ortext=soccer%2C+booters%2C+soccermen%2C+boolers&proxValue=&dateFilterType=yearRange&page=2 24 May 2021Swalm Townsend 29 October 1935 Soccermen Defeat Maroon;
