Wright State finished in a three-way tie for fourth at 8-8. A season of lifting wins and sinking losses. 2004-05 had the excitement of watching Zach Williams play for the Raiders, as well as watching DaShaun Wood, Drew Burleson and Zakee Boyd continue their development. Freshmen Spencer and Pleiman were relied on heavily and rose to the occasion. In the end a season of development, but the Raiders lacked the experience and depth to compete for the league title.Tom Archdeacon March 2, 2005 Playing for each other, WSU wins https://daytondailynews.newspapers.com/image/410776493/ 128 143 C1 Dayton Daily News Cox Media The tournament provided a bright memory to finish the year with the Wright State Raiders beating their nemesis, the Butler Bulldogs, at the Nutter Center in the opening round.Marc Katz March 2, 2005 WSU fights past Butler in tourney https://daytondailynews.newspapers.com/image/410776493/ 128 143 C1 Dayton Daily News Cox Media Roster Changes Joining Spencer Everett Jordan Pleiman a 6' 8" forward recruited from Fort Loramie.Marc Katz October 26, 2004 Raiders to unveil men's, women's teams https://daytondailynews.newspapers.com/image/411292095/ 128 16 Dayton Daily News Cox Media Lorenzo Shine a guard from Detroit Rogers High School.Marc Katz November 22, 2003 WSU adds guard from Michigan https://daytondailynews.newspapers.com/image/410571798/ 127 42 Dayton Daily News Cox Media Parysh Munroe from Freeport, Bahamas by way of Massanuten Military Academy.Marc Katz May 21, 2004 WSU gets blue chipper from Bluegrass State https://daytondailynews.newspapers.com/image/410764867/ 128 -142 Dayton Daily News Cox Media Jaron Taylor a transfer from Catonsville Community College.
