1939 Campeonato Mancomunado Centro

Campeonato Mancomunado Centro 1939 1 October – 19 November Spain 6 Athletic-Aviation Club 1 Real Madrid CF 30 98 1935–36 The 1939 Campeonato Mancomunado Centro (es 1939 Central Joint Championship) was a football competition for clubs based primarily in the Castile region of Spain, including the Community of Madrid, played between 1 October and 19 November 1939. It was organized by the football federations that made up Spain's central zone, hence the name. This tournament was held in the form of a round-robin league and had a total of 30 matches. It was the sixth joint championship of the Campeonato Regional Centro, after the Centro-Aragón in 1931–32, Centro-Sur in 1932–33 and 1933–34, and Castilla-Aragón in 1934–35 and 1935–36.https://www.rsssf.org/tabless/span-centrchamp.html#40 List of Champions of Campeonato Regional Centro - 1939-40 (Campeonato Regional del Centro) RSSSF 7 June 2018 22 March 2024 The competition was then suspended for three seasons due to the Spanish Civil War. When the war had ceased in part of Andalusia, the teams from the Andalusian Federation abandoned the Centro tournament, which was suspended, to remake the Campeonato Regional Sur. This meant that the 1939 edition was contested by only six teams from the Madrid and Castilian-Leonese federations, including Real Madrid and Athletic-Aviation Club, the latter being the result of a merge between Atlético Madrid and Club Aviación Nacional, and who ended up winning the title after heading out Madrid on goal difference.https://www.bdfutbol.com/en/c/temporada.html?id=479 Classification Campeonato Regional Centro 1939-40 www.bdfutbol.com 22 March 2024 It was the last championship in league format played in the central regional area, due to the suppression of all national regional championships following the consolidation of the national league and its lower divisions.October 2025 Tournament The teams that competed in this edition were Real Madrid CF, Atlético Aviación de Madrid, AD Ferroviaria, UD Salamanca, Imperio CF, and Real Valladolid.October 2025 Atlético Aviación only won one of its first four matches, including a 1–2 loss to Madrid, but then won each of the remaining six Mancomunado matches, including a 3–0 victory over Madrid in the last matchday,https://www.infoatleti.es/partidos?t=1939-40&c= Partidos del Atlético de Madrid - Temporada 1939-40 Atlético de Madrid matches - Season 1939-40 www.infoatleti.es 22 March 2024 which saw the two sides finish level on points, but Atlético Aviación winning the title with a better goal difference.https://www.larazon.es/deportes/futbol/atletico-madrid/20210920/wse4sqr5xzehjddrwk4qyem7p4.html La historia desconocida del Atlético Aviación: el club que nunca fue el origen del Atlético de Madrid The unknown history of Atlético Aviación: the club that was never the origin of Atlético de Madrid es www.larazon.es 20 September 2021 22 March 2024 Results DateLocationVisitorScore1 October 1939 Valladolid CD Real Madrid FC1–24 October 1939 Real Madrid FC Imperio FC2–06 October 1939 AD Ferroviaria Athletic Aviación2–17 October 1939 AD Ferroviaria Valladolid CD1–112 October 1939 AD Ferroviaria Imperio FC 2–012 October 1939 Valladolid CD Athletic Aviación 0–312 October 1939 UD Salamanca Real Madrid FC 0–414 October 1939 AD Ferroviaria Real Madrid FC 2–215 October 1939 UD Salamanca Valladolid CD 1–015 October 1939 Athletic Aviación Imperio FC1–118 October 1939 Imperio FC UD Salamanca 1–122 October 1939 Real Madrid FC Athletic Aviación 2–122 October 1939 AD Ferroviaria UD Salamanca 3–322 October 1939 Valladolid CD Imperio FC1–125 October 1939 Athletic Aviación UD Salamanca 3–0 DateLocationVisitorScore28 October 1939 Athletic Aviación AD Ferroviaria4–029 October 1939 Real Madrid FC Valladolid CD 3–029 October 1939 UD Salamanca Imperio FC 2–11 November 1939 Imperio FC Real Madrid FC 1–21 November 1939 UD Salamanca Athletic Aviación 1–31 November 1939 Valladolid CD AD Ferroviaria 0–34 November 1939 Real Madrid FC UD Salamanca 3–25 November 1939 Imperio FC AD Ferroviaria 0–45 November 1939 Athletic Aviación Valladolid CD8–011 November 1939 Imperio FC Athletic Aviación 2–312 November 1939 Real Madrid FC AD Ferroviaria 1–212 November 1939 Valladolid CD UD Salamanca 2–018 November 1939 Imperio FC Valladolid CD 2–119 November 1939 Athletic Aviación Real Madrid FC3–019 November 1939 UD Salamanca AD Ferroviaria 3–0 League table main WDL 2 AVI Athletic Aviación RMA Real Madrid FER Ferroviaria SAL Salamanca IMP Imperio VAL Valladolid 7 1 2 30 8 7 1 2 21 12 5 3 2 19 15 3 2 5 13 20 1 3 6 9 19 1 2 7 6 24 Q KO KO KO green1 Qualification for the Copa del Rey. complete BDFutbolBDFutbol: Dades Històriques i Estadístiques de Futbolhttps://www.bdfutbol.com/en/c/temporada.html?id=477 Campeonato Regional Mancomunado Castilla-Aragón 1935-36 BDFutbol https://web.archive.org/web/20241222195236/https://www.bdfutbol.com/en/c/temporada.html?id=477 2024-12-22 live 2026-03-31 Results table ATMR MFERSALIMPVALAtlhletic-Aviación3–04–03–01–18–0Real Madrid CF2–11–23–22–03–0AD Ferroviaria2–12–23–32–01–1UD Salamanca1–30–43–02–11–0Imperio CF2–31–20–41–12–1Real Valladolid0–31–20–32–01–1 50px|borderChampionAthletic-Aviation Club4th title Qualified to the Copa del Rey-1940 Copa del Generalísimo 50pxAthletic-Aviation ClubReal MadridAD Ferroviaria See also 1939–40 Atlético Aviación season 1940 Spanish Super Cup 1941–47 FEF President Cup References Category:Campeonato Regional Centro Category:1939–40 in Spanish football leagues
