The team participated in UCI Continental Circuits and UCI World Tour events when given a wildcard invitation. On the first rest day of the 2014 Tour de France, 15 July 2014, the team announced they had secured sponsorship with German cooking surface and extractor manufacturer BORA. The team for 2015 onwards will thus be known as Team BORA. The team will be the first German team with a German title sponsor in the professional peloton since 2010. Team manager Ralph Denk expressed hope that BORA's backing would help the team achieve their aim of joining the UCI World Tour by 2017.http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/team-netapp-to-become-team-bora Team NetApp to become Team BORA 15 July 2014 Cyclingnews.com 15 February 2015 After the end of the 2014 Tour de France, it was announced that starting in 2015 the team would ride bicycles from Canadian company, Argon 18, which would also be the team's second title sponsor.http://www.argon18bike.com/news/compagny/argon-18-signed-partnership-bora-a18.html?f THE NETAPP-ENDURA TEAM WILL BE KNOWN AS BORA – ARGON 18 29 July 2014 15 February 2015 https://web.archive.org/web/20150923173558/http://www.argon18bike.com/news/compagny/argon-18-signed-partnership-bora-a18.html?f 23 September 2015 dead 2015 roster Shane Archbold NZL yes 2015 1 1 1989 2 2 Jan Bárta CZE yes 2015 1 1 1984 12 07 Phil Bauhaus GER yes 2015 1 1 1994 7 8 Cesare Benedetti ITA yes 2015 1 1 1987 08 03 Sam Bennett IRL yes 2015 1 1 1990 10 16 Emanuel Buchmann GER yes 2015 1 1 1992 11 18 Zak Dempster AUS yes 2015 1 1 1987 9 27 Bartosz Huzarski POL yes 2015 1 1 1980 10 27 Patrick Konrad AUT yes 2015 1 1 1991 10 13 Ralf Matzka GER yes 2015 1 1 1989 8 24 José Mendes POR yes 2015 1 1 1985 4 24 Dominik Nerz GER yes 2015 1 1 1989 8 25 Christoph Pfingsten GER yes 2015 1 1 1987 11 20 Cristiano Salerno ITA yes 2015 1 1 1985 2 18 Andreas Schillinger GER yes 2015 1 1 1983 07 13 Daniel Schorn AUT yes 2015 1 1 1988 10 21 Michael Schwarzmann GER yes 2015 1 1 1991 01 07 Björn Thurau GER yes 2015 1 1 1988 7 23 Scott Thwaites GBR yes 2015 1 1 1990 2 12 Paul Voss GER yes 2015 1 1 1986 3 26 Riders who joined the team for the 2015 season Rider2014 teamShane Archboldneo-pro (SKT 2014)Phil Bauhausneo-pro (Team Stölting)Emanuel Buchmannneo-pro (rad-net Rose Team)Patrick Konradneo-pro (RSW 2014)Dominik Nerzhttp://www.cyclingnews.com/news/nerz-to-team-bora-in-2015 Nerz to Team Bora in 2015 15 September 2014 cyclingnews.com 15 February 2015 BMC 2014Christoph Pfingsten Cyclingteam de RijkeCristiano Salernohttp://www.cyclingnews.com/news/news-shorts-andy-schleck-to-retire News shorts: Andy Schleck to retire? 7 October 2014 cyclingnews.com 15 February 2015 CAN 2014Björn Thurauhttp://www.cyclingnews.com/news/bjorn-thurau-signs-for-bora Björn Thurau signs for Bora 17 September 2014 Cyclingnews.com Future plc 15 February 2015 EUC 2014 Riders who left the team during or after the 2014 season Rider2015 teamIker CamañoDavid de la Cruz OPQ 2015Blaž Jarchttp://www.cyclingnews.com/news/news-shorts-hushovd-says-armstrong-admitted-doping-in-2011 News shorts: Hushovd says Armstrong admitted doping in 2011 Cyclingnews.com 15 February 2015 RetiredLeopold Könighttp://www.radio.cz/en/section/news/czech-cyclist-koenig-signs-for-team-sky-after-coming-seventh-in-tour-de-france Czech cyclist König signs for Team Sky after coming seventh in Tour de France Ian Willoughby Radio Prague 30 September 2014 15 February 2015 SKY 2015Tiago Machadohttp://www.cyclingnews.com/news/machado-signs-two-year-deal-with-katusha Machado signs two-year deal with Katusha Cyclingnews.com Future plc 21 September 2014 15 February 2015 KAT 2015Jonathan McEvoyhttp://www.cyclingweekly.co.uk/news/latest-news/garmin-sharps-steele-von-hoff-joins-nfto-2015-148839 Garmin-Sharp’s Steele Von Hoff joins NFTO for 2015 Bull Nick 11 December 2014 Cycling Weekly 15 February 2015 NFTOFrantišek Paďour Androni GiocattoliErick Rowsellhttp://www.cyclingweekly.co.uk/news/latest-news/martyn-irvine-mark-mcnally-headline-new-arrivals-madison-genesis-144474 Martyn Irvine and Mark McNally headline new arrivals for Madison Genesis Clarke Stuart 13 November 2014 Cycling Weekly 15 February 2015MGT 2015 Season victories Date Race Competition Rider Country Location dmy February 13 Tour of Qatar, Stage 6 UCI Asia Tour Sam Bennett Sam Bennett (cyclist) IRL Doha dmy April 21 Giro del Trentino, Stage 1 UCI Europe Tour Team time trialThe riders on the squad were Cesare Benedetti, Emanuel Buchmann, Bartosz Huzarski, Patrick Konrad, José Mendes, Dominik Nerz, Cristiano Salerno and Paul Voß Arco dmy April 24 Giro del Trentino, Sprints classification UCI Europe Tour Cesare Benedetti ITA dmy May 13 Bayern–Rundfahrt, Stage 1 UCI Europe Tour Sam Bennett Sam Bennett (cyclist) IRL Waldsassen dmy May 15 Bayern–Rundfahrt, Stage 3 UCI Europe Tour Sam Bennett Sam Bennett (cyclist) IRL Ebern dmy August 14 Arctic Race of Norway, Stage 2 UCI Europe Tour Sam Bennett Sam Bennett (cyclist) IRL Setermoen dmy October 8 Paris–Bourges UCI Europe Tour Sam Bennett Sam Bennett (cyclist) IRL Bourges National, Continental and World champions 2015 Date Discipline Jersey Rider Country Location dmy June 26Czech Republic National Time Trial Champion center|20px Jan Bárta CZE The national road championships for the Czech Republic and Slovakia are held together, alternating yearly between the two countries.
