With 50 km 0 off remaining, pressure from GRS 2015 yes on one of the race's steep climbs split the peloton; the main group was reduced to 80 riders. Cousin held out alone at the head of the race, but was caught on the climb. On the run in to the finish, Ilnur Zakarin (KAT 2015 yes) attacked alone on the climb of Colla Micheri, but failed to establish a gap. He tried again on the final climb, Capo Mele, and was joined by Simone Stortoni (AND 2015a) and Linus Gerdemann (CUL 2015). LAM 2015 yes, however, had several riders in the main group and were able to catch the breakaway and set up the sprint for Davide Cimolai. Aided in particular by Przemysław Niemiec, Cimolai won the race in a sprint ahead of Francesco Gavazzi (NRI 2015) and Alexey Tsatevich (KAT 2015 yes).Trofeo Laigueglia 2015 - Classic http://www.procyclingstats.com/race/Trofeo_Laigueglia_2015 ProCyclingStats 19 February 2015Conti Alessandro Volata al Trofeo Laigueglia: trionfa Cimolai su Gavazzi http://www.gazzetta.it/Ciclismo/18-02-2015/moser-martin-nazionale-52-trofeo-laigueglia-100942500865.shtml La Gazzetta dello Sport 19 February 2015 Italian 19 February 2015 Result Result 1 Davide Cimolai ITA LAM 2015 4h 53' 47" 2 Francesco Gavazzi ITA NRI 2015 + 0" 3 Alexey Tsatevich RUS KAT 2015 + 0" 4 Matteo Montaguti ITA ALM 2015 + 0" 5 Fabio Felline ITA Italy (national team) + 0" 6 Angelo Tulik FRA EUC 2015 + 0" 7 Brent Bookwalter USA BMC 2015 + 0" 8 Rasmus Guldhammer DEN CUL 2015 + 0" 9 Simone Petilli ITA UNI2 2015 + 0" 10 Javier Mejías ESP TNN 2015 + 0" References External links Trofeo Laigueglia Category:Trofeo Laigueglia Trofeo Laigueglia Category:February 2015 sports events in Italy
