Season summary In the 1993–94 season, Notts County narrowly missed the play-offs for promotion to the Premiership. The season is most remembered for a 2–1 victory over arch rivals Nottingham Forest in which Charlie Palmer scored the winning goal with just four minutes remaining. This has become a celebrated event among Notts County fans, who have dubbed 12 February (the anniversary of the game) Sir Charlie Palmer Day.January 2010 In March 1994, the Magpies lost the Anglo-Italian Cup final to Brescia.Slot Owen Football / Anglo-Italian Cup Final: County's charge comes too late: Brescia's Wembley victory https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football--angloitalian-cup-final-countys-charge-comes-too-late-brescias-wembley-victory-1430722.html https://ghostarchive.org/archive/20220501/https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football--angloitalian-cup-final-countys-charge-comes-too-late-brescias-wembley-victory-1430722.html 1 May 2022 subscription live The Independent 21 March 1994 26 June 2012 Final league table 1993–94 Football League First Division NTC y Results Notts County's score comes firsthttp://www.statto.com/football/teams/notts-county/1993-1994 Notts County 1993-1994 Home -
