Championship 1 is the third-tier rugby league competition in the United Kingdom. The 2013 season consists of two stages. The regular season was played over 18 round-robin fixtures, in which each of the nine teams involved in the competition played each other once at home and once away. This means that teams will play 16 games and will have two bye-rounds, where they will not play a game. In the Championship 1, a win was worth three points in the table, a draw worth two points apiece, and a loss by less than 12 points during the game earned one bonus point. Defeats by more than 12 points yielded no points. At the end of the regular season, the team finishing first in the table will be crowned Championship and will be promoted to the Championship. The teams who finish the regular season between second and sixth will enter the play-offs with the winner claiming the second promotion place.Competition Structure http://www.rugbyleaguechampionships.co.uk/championship/competition_structure RFL 14 April 2013 https://web.archive.org/web/20130204034748/http://www.rugbyleaguechampionships.co.uk/championship/competition_structure 4 February 2013 dead dmy-all Regular season Round 1 HomeScoreAwayMatch informationDate and timeVenueRefereeAttendance gloucestershire 22 Gloucestershire All Golds30–40 22px Oxford Rugby League29 March, 15:00 GMTPrince of Wales stadiumJamie Bloem323 London Skolars 22 London Skolars8–26 22px Hemel Stags29 March, 15:00 GMTNew River StadiumClint Sharrad419 Oldham 22 Oldham R.L.F.C.18–28 Rochdale 22 Rochdale Hornets29 March, 15:00 GMTWhitebank StadiumTom Crashley664 South Wales Scorpions 22 South Wales Scorpions12–34 22px North Wales Crusaders1 April, 15:00 BSTThe GnollWarren Turley675Bye-round: Gateshead 14 Gateshead Thunder Source:Results – Championship One – Rugby League – BBC Sport https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-league/championship-one/results https://web.archive.org/web/20130607124337/http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-league/championship-one/results dead 7 June 2013 BBC Sport 29 March 2013Results http://www.rugbyleaguechampionships.co.uk/championship_1/match_day/results Rugby League Championships 29 March 2013 https://web.archive.org/web/20140513223143/http://www.rugbyleaguechampionships.co.uk/championship_1/match_day/results 13 May 2014 dead Round 2 HomeScoreAwayMatch informationDate and timeVenueRefereeAttendance 22px Oxford Rugby League20–22 South Wales Scorpions 22 South Wales Scorpions13 April, 14:30 BSTIffley RoadJamie Bloem352 22px North Wales Crusaders44–6 London Skolars 22 London Skolars14 April, 14:30 BSTRacecourse GroundClint Sharrad761 gloucestershire 22 Gloucestershire All Golds0–36 Oldham 22 Oldham R.L.F.C.14 April, 15:00 BSTPrince of Wales StadiumJoe Cobb105 22px Hemel Stags21–20 Gateshead 22 Gateshead Thunder14 April, 15:00 BSTPennine Way stadiumDave Sharpe263Bye-round: Rochdale 14 Rochdale Hornets Source: Round 3 HomeScoreAwayMatch informationDate and timeVenueRefereeAttendance 22px North Wales Crusaders52–8 Gateshead 22 Gateshead Thunder28 April, 14:30 BSTRacecourse GroundDave Sharpe752 22px Hemel Stags28–8 gloucestershire 22 Gloucestershire All Golds28 April, 15:00 BSTPennine Way stadiumJamie Bloem319 Oldham 22 Oldham R.L.F.C.16–18 22px Oxford Rugby League28 April, 15:00 BSTWhitebank StadiumClint Sharrad602 South Wales Scorpions 22 South Wales Scorpions30–28 Rochdale 22 Rochdale Hornets28 April, 15:00 BSTThe GnollWarren Turley267Bye-round: London Skolars 14 London Skolars Source: Round 4 HomeScoreAwayMatch informationDate and timeVenueRefereeAttendance Gateshead 22 Gateshead Thunder30–10 gloucestershire 22 Gloucestershire All Golds5 May, 15:00 BSTGateshead International StadiumClint Sharrad161 London Skolars 22 London Skolars39–20 South Wales Scorpions 22 South Wales Scorpions5 May, 15:00 BSTNew River StadiumJamie Bloem309 22px Oxford Rugby League23–22 22px Hemel Stags5 May, 15:00 BSTIffley RoadDave Sharpe337 Rochdale 22 Rochdale Hornets18–35 22px North Wales Crusaders5 May, 15:00 BSTSpotland StadiumJoe Cobb769Bye-round: Oldham 14 Oldham R.L.F.C.
